Smoking Ups Impotence Risk in Younger Men

NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - Adding to evidence that smoking is bad for a man's sex life, new study findings show that smoking may raise the risk of impotence, particularly in younger men.

Researchers found that among the more than 1,300 men they followed, those who smoked were at greater risk of erectile dysfunction (ED) than either former smokers or non-smokers.

Smokers in their 40s, the youngest group in the study, showed the highest smoking-related risk. Compared with other men their age, they were nearly three times more likely to have erectile dysfunction. Smoking was also linked, to a lesser extent, to impotence among men in their 50s and 60s, but not among those in their 70s.

This age difference is not surprising, according to Drs. Naomi M. Gades and Steven J. Jacobsen of the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota, two of the authors of the study.

Older men often have a number of risk factors for impotence, including diabetes, heart disease and high blood pressure. In younger men, Gades and Jacobsen told Reuters Health, the association between smoking and impotence is less likely to be "masked" by these other medical conditions.

"Smoking may have a more apparent impact on erectile dysfunction in young male smokers than it does in older male smokers," the researchers report in the current issue of the American Journal of Epidemiology.

A number of past studies have pointed to the impotence risk associated with smoking. Though the reasons aren't fully clear, it's thought that the effects of smoking on the blood vessels may impair blood flow to the penis, leading to problems with maintaining an erection.

It's known that conditions in which blood circulation is impaired -- such as high blood pressure and heart disease -- raise the risk of erectile dysfunction. Increasingly, Gades and Jacobsen noted, men diagnosed with ED are being referred for cardiovascular work-ups, since the condition could be a sign of underlying artery disease.

The new findings, according to the researchers, support the idea that smoking is a direct cause of ED because the study found a "dose-response" relationship between the condition and men's smoking habits. This means that the more men smoked over their lives, the greater their risk of impotence was.

Some public health campaigns, the study authors note, have emphasized the fact that smoking may be a risk factor for ED. The rationale has been that while younger men may not be swayed by the far-off prospect of lung cancer, emphysema or heart disease, the risk smoking presents to their sex lives may grab their attention.

These messages, the researchers write, "may be well founded."

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A New Jersey man has filed a false advertising lawsuit against a maker of herbal penis enlargement pills, alleging the medicine does not fulfill its promises, the plaintiff's lawyer said on Monday.

Two similar cases, filed last year in Colorado and Ohio, accuse manufacturers of herbal dietary supplements, VigRx and Enzyte, of falsely claiming to be able to add substantial length and girth to a man's penis.

All three suits seek class action status and claim to represent more than 1 million total plaintiffs.

In the latest case, filed on Jan. 21 in New Jersey state court, plaintiff Michael Coluzzi claimed he paid $59.95 for a 30-day supply of Alzare pills but "experienced no increase in penis size," and then was unable to collect a promised refund from manufacturer Alzare LLC of Boca Raton, Florida.

Neither Alzare nor chief operating officer Scott Hammond, both named as defendants, could be reached for comment.

Coluzzi's attorney, Stephen DeNittis, said many men had been taken in by dubious claims that the product would add up to 3 inches (7.5 cm) to their penises by "very, very convincing" advertising, such as infomercials featuring doctors and porn stars.

"Males, for whatever reason, may be susceptible because of what they feel they lack," DeNittis said. "It was so believable I confirmed with an expert (that the claims were false) before I filed the lawsuit. They said they had done medical studies proving that it works."

The ads for Alzare tablets, comprised of ginseng, yohimbe bark, L-arginine and other ingredients, guaranteed results within a week and claimed a 95 percent success rate in the more than 100,000 men who have used it, the suit said.

But last year, the Center for Science in the Public Interest filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission saying the maker of Enzyte had not backed up its claims with science.

Although thousands of complaints have been registered with local government agencies and the Better Business Bureau, few lawsuits have been filed because the companies appear to be "judgment proof," DeNittis said.

"They don't have enough assets for plaintiffs to recover, and some of the defendants are fly-by-night -- they close up shop after they get sued," he said.

All three lawsuits claim that plaintiffs were unable to contact the companies for guaranteed refunds after spending hundreds of dollars for the penis enhancers.

My Penis Enlargement Quest

My experience with this whole game went through many stages. I have been on pretty high doses of certain medications that throughout my adult years have slowly made getting a good erection difficult. About 2 years ago I decided I wanted to do something about this. I did a simple google search on the net for this condition and the first link I clicked brought me to the back door of some PE site which I still have no clue to who it was. I printed out the complete info and started to read. I had no interest at the time of increasing the size of my penis nor did I think it even possible I did however have some faith in the exercises geared at increasing erection strength. I decided to do the whole program anyway to see what happens. Now it is very important to understand the claims this guy made and how that affected my own results as I slowly gained faith in the entire program. He claimed a few things that seemed impossible to me at the time. Some being; gain 4" in one year, gain 2" of girth in one year, last longer, the hardest erection ever, among other extraordinary claim. Well about two months into the program, which I followed religiously, I started to notice changes as did Jennifer. The first being stretch marks on the belly of my penis. Quickly following were much harder erections, I was lasting much longer, sex started to feel tighter, I noticed hair growing up the side of my penis, things just started to happen that he said would happen. I was a convert, I BELIEVED!

After my new found confidence and faith in this program I started to add and incorporate. I still had not measured my penis but as I said that was not the original issue of doing these exercises. This program was intense and grueling. I took alot of time and was done daily. By the time I did finally measure I was 8.25" long and 6 months into the program. I started at 6.5" so this only made my confidence in his program that much greater. At this point I stumbled on to the peform.net site and started to read and study.

I actually felt discouraged about my gains thinking I should be closing in on at least a 3" gain because I was moving into the last third of my year. According to the original ligature 4" was what was promised and so far everything he promised materialized. This is when I made my first post at peforums.net. I came out saying how depressed I was about my minimal gains and needed some help to get bigger. Well this was not appreciated very much and an all out attack ensued on me. People thought I was full of shit and making all this up. It wasn't until further inspection that I realized the extent of my original gains. Soon after seeing what normal gains were I could appreciate the forum anger. I really wanted to be accepted by this elite force of PE brethren and I was willing to do what I needed to be accepted. At the time I posted my first pictures I was closing in on 9.5” in length and I think 6” of girth. I new to be accepted as a real person photos would be important. They were just the thing to gain acceptance.

The first people that befriended me were Dino, Buster, DrGmerlin, Luvdadus, Twatteaser, Pamdaga and my long lost friend MisterEd. I was quickly encouraged to get involved in the forum and I slowly did. After reading how good my gains were in comparison to what people usually gained I entered my first plateau. I started to lose faith in the original text and start believing I made all the gains I could. 10” seemed out of the question and I stopped believing. This is when I met Bib (Bigger). When I heard he broke these barriers I quickly regained my faith and redesigned my entire program.

I started looking into all forms of science and how they apply to penis enlargement. I took a particular interest in simple machines and how I could incorporate this knowledge into my own manual exercises. Soon after this developed some of the exercises that I still use today. These exercises were all the result of applied information and belief. Exercises like Counter Stretches, DLD Blasters, A-Stretches, Dual Fulcrums, Ankle Fulcrums, Bundled Stretches, Horseshoes (DLD Bends) and other less known exercises manifested. These exercises put into a semi organized format and my faith in Bib brought me beyond the 10” mark.

During this entire process I was suffering with my own mental disorders and felt so connected to this forum that I decided to start being honest with these issues. I suffer from acute O.C.D. (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and as a result I am agoraphobic. Due to this disorder basic life is very difficult for me to live. I cannot go into public. It takes hours to bathe, I cannot hold any type of job, and normal relationships are a luxury I will probably never see. (Thank God for you guys and my dear Jennifer) My initial fear of rejection was quickly dimmed by the incredible support I received. This led to some of the studies I have worked on. The friends I made in this forum really encouraged me to take control of my problems and start doing something about it. Over the following moths I jumped head first into “Is Everything you See Really what Your Seeing”, The Yakface thread “Self-View”, and my numerous other threads addressing these problems and what to do. I quickly was not only embraced by the people here I was joined in my struggle. I found out that many men suffered from some of the same problems I did. Since that time I have devoted much time to working on these issues and offering help to my brothers in these forums. I saw that when I could help someone I was truly helping myself.

My life since has become somewhat manageable. I spend most of my time here and in the bathroom I have more than met my final goals and have gone beyond that. I have also realized that I can do something with life of value. This potential was born out of these forums and the love of my fellow pe’ers. I am truly a product of my environment and my environment is you.

Introduction To Penis Enlargement Surgery

Penis enlargement surgery (also known as penile augmentation or penile enhancement surgery) consists of two surgical procedures to enlarge the penis, one is used to increase the girth of the penis, the second is used to increase the length of the penis. Typically, patients opt to have both penis enlargement procedures carried out at the same time.

Increasing the girth of the penis relies on fat cells (usually from the patients abdomen) being transplanted (injected) around the penis. The procedure, known as fat transfer, bulks-up the penis and can increase the girth of the penis by 1 to 3 inches. One of the possible drawbacks is that the transplanted fat cells feel soft, somewhat like female breast tissue. Additionally, increases in the girth of the penis achieved this way can often disappear as the fat cells are reabsorbed back into the body. Sometimes, the re-absorption of the transplanted fat is uneven and the penis is left looking lumpy and unsightly.

A variant of the fat transfer method called “dermal transfer” may overcome the fat re-absorption problem. Dermal transfer uses strips of skin and fat together. The skin stops the fat from being re-absorbed into the body but because this procedure requires strips of skin and fat to be grafted onto the penis the surgery is more complex and the risk of disfigurement is much greater.

Penis lengthening procedures are quite different from the procedures used to increase the girth of the penis. The tissue in the penis that fills with blood is called the corpora cavernosa. This spongy tissue normally extends from the penis back into the body. In some cases, half of the corpora cavernosa may be "concealed" inside the body. Penis lengthening relies on releasing this concealed tissue which has the effect of increasing the length of the penis. Releasing the concealed part of the penis is done by cutting the suspensory ligaments that keep the corpora cavernosa anchored within the body. This moves the concealed part of the penis forward achieving additional penis length outside the body. This type of penis enlargement surgery can result in substantial flaccid size gains but sometimes only a small increase in the erect penis length.

The side effects of this penis lengthening surgery stem from the fact that with the suspensory ligament no longer anchored to the pubic bone, the penis is effectively “floating loose”. If the penis is flaccid this will not cause any problems but if the penis is erect then several problems may occur. Floating loose from the pubic bone, the erect penis can slip and shift around during sex. And without the suspensory ligament to hold it, erections can point downwards. Nowadays, more sophisticated surgical techniques mean that this can be minimized but the angle of erection is still likely to be reduced no matter how the surgery is carried out.

Penis enlargement surgery has advanced a long way since the early days when penile disfigurement was almost a certainty but many surgeons still refuse to offer penis enlargement procedures because of the risks associated with it. Candidates for penis enlargement surgery should seek advice from their own doctor and ideally undergo counselling before consulting with surgeons offering these procedures.

Penis Traction Research Results

Research presented at the 1st Virtual Sexology and Hispanoamerican Sexual Education Congress in Madrid revealed the use of penis traction devices to be effective in increasing both the length and perimeter (girth) of the penis. The research examined the effects of traction-based penile stretching on 37 Spanish men aged between 22 and 60 over a six month period. The men used the traction devices for 10 hours a day and the results were checked on a monthly basis. The traction force used was increased each month up to a maximum of 1200 grams.

The researchers utilized the Size Genetics traction device which is manufactured in Germany and available worldwide. Key results from the survey included:


The average increase per month in the length of the erect penis was 0.47cm.
The average monthly length increase of the penis in the flaccid state was 0.48cm.
After three months usage, the median length increase in the erect state was 1.41cm. After six months usage, the median length increase in the erect state was 3.33cm
The average length in the erect state after six months represented a 27.5% increase over the subjects initial erect length.
The increases in size did not depend on the age of the patient.


Penis girth gains were also apparent with use of the device. An average girth increase of approximately 0.80cm was recorded for each month's usage of the device. As with the increases in length, the increases in girth were recorded in both the erect and flaccid states. The researchers cautioned, however, that the increases in girth were more disparate than the increases in length.

The researchers said the increase in both length and girth was directly proportional to the amount of time the device was used. They also reported that the increase in erect and flaccid length did not depend on the natural size of the subject's penis.

In another study - published in the International Journal of Impotence Research - researchers examined the effectiveness of penis-stretching physiotherapy for patients with Peyronie’s disease. After three months of traction treatment the researchers reported a mean decrease in the subject's penis curvature of 40%.

How does jelqing enlarge the penis?
Jelqing exercises work in two ways: rebuilding and expanding the spongy bodies in the penis known as the corpora cavernosa and the corpus spongiosum, and, lengthening the ligaments of the penis, the main one being the suspensory ligament. A good example of ligament stretching can be seen in the women that belong to the Padaung tribe of Myanmar. Referred to as "Giraffe Women", they are known for their extremely elongated necks. From an early age, these women wrap metal coils around their necks. Over time, as more coils are added, the necks are stretched ten inches or more in length.

What is the best jelqing exercise for increasing penis length?
In manual stretches, nothing beats the "Tension Stretch". Why? The penis is anchored to the pubic bone by several ligaments. In order to stretch these ligaments, it's necessary to perform a stretch that taxes all of the ligaments involved. By "rotating" the stretched penis, you are effectively stretching all the ligaments without cutting off circulation.

What about increasing penis girth?
The easiest and most common exercise for increasing girth would have to be the jelq. As a beginner's exercise, it's fine, but for more advanced penis enlargement, I believe the jelq to be highly overrated. My recommendation is "the squeeze" exercise. Many men, after jelqing for several months and doing hundreds of repetitions a day, report an even better result by doing the squeeze for just a few dozen repetitions. The squeeze will expand the the spongy tissues of the penis and stretch the tunica (the elastic-like casing of the penis). I’d like to make clear the distinction between the “uli” exercise and the squeeze exercise. The uli involves the use of only one hand squeezing the base of the penis. The squeeze however involves the use of both hands, one at each end.

How long before I see results from jelqing and other exercises?
Many men start seeing changes in penis size within a few weeks. Some men have added up to an inch or more in less than a month. This is uncommon but not impossible. How quickly you see results is entirely dependent on keeping up the exercises and following instructions closely.

How big can I make my penis?
Some advanced users stop making gains because they fall victim to the "more is better" mode of thinking. They say, "Hey, I did 50 repetitions of 'the squeeze', and my penis is a half inch bigger. If it only took 50 repetitions to add that half inch, then with 100 repetitions, I should be able to add a whole inch!" This a fallacy and men should ensure they follow the routines as instructed. The penis needs to be treated with care and good jelqing routines are designed to avoid discomfort and injury.

Do jelqing exercises take a long time to do?
For beginners, the exercises shouldn't take more than 30 minutes a day. For more advanced levels of penis enlargement, an hour or more is not uncommon. Taking some of the time you normally spend watching TV and using it for penis enlargement is a good way to start.

Who can I get jelqing help from?
Finding a good program is very important. Does the program offer consultation services? How is their support? How long do they take to answer emails? Is the info regularly updated? Are there various routines to choose from? Are the guidelines easy to follow? Good jelqing programs should also offer message boards and discussion forums for members to discuss routines and results.

SELF HYPNOSIS
WARNING: Be sure to read this entire article. Don't try to pick and chose aspects of it and think you're ready. There is important, valuable information contained throughout that you're going to need. While guided visualization isn't considered dangerous, it can be misused. You assume all risk for your choices to use this information.


What is Hypnosis?
As you probably know, your mind has two parts – the “conscious” and the “subconscious”. The conscious mind is what you use when you’re awake and aware of your surroundings. It is actually only 20% of your mind however. The subconscious stores memories, emotions, and represents over 80% of your mind’s capacity.

In between the conscious and subconscious minds is a barrier that protects one from the other. This barrier keeps just any old thing from dropping into the subconscious mind and becoming a reality. What hypnosis does is to punch a small whole in this barrier and allow suggestions to be placed directly into the subconscious.

Most people think that it takes a hypnotist to do this. In fact, all hypnosis – even “stage hypnosis” (the hypnosis you see in stage shows or on TV), is actually self-hypnosis. Further, anyone can learn to do this safely – even without a hypnotist.

Hypnosis is a powerful way to re-program your subconscious mind for success, confidence, or anything else you may want. Another way to think about hypnosis is to call it “guided visualization”. This means, you see, hear, feel, etc., yourself as though you’ve already obtained whatever it is that you want.

Is Hypnosis Dangerous?
At one time people believed that hypnosis could be used to control someone and make them do anything. Today, we have a better understanding of just what hypnosis is, and what it can do. People often point to the few examples they have of hypnosis – usually “stage hypnosis” where someone is convinced to do something ridiculous.

Some people, (called “synombalists”) have the ability to easily drop into a hypnotic state. There are certain signs that hypnotists use in looking for these people for stage hypnosis. The majority of people are not so easily hypnotized.

There is one key rule to hypnosis: always bring yourself "out" of hypnosis before you do anything else. Consider this: if hypnosis is about that "hole" in the critical area of your mind, do you really want that open for just anything to go in? Imagine what would happen if you went under self hypnosis only to then go watch the news! All of that negativity would flood into your mind and probably leave you very depressed.

What If I Can’t Be Hypnotized?
The fact is, everybody can be hypnotized. Even you! Further hypnosis is simply a form of deep relaxation and focus where your mind is clear of interruption. This concentrated focus makes hypnosis the valuable tool that it is.

Many people mistakenly think they can't be hypnotized because they don't "feel" anything. In fact, only 1/2 of the population actually "feels" something when they first try hypnosis. So, don't let that discourage you. As well, when you're in self hypnosis, you're not really "in a trance" as is portrayed by TV and movies. In fact, you're "hyper-aware" of things around you! You'll notice sounds, feelings, smells, etc., much better than usual. This is a good sign that you're actually "under".

Once you've been in hypnosis a few times, you'll learn to feel it and know when it is happening, but again, EVERYONE can be hypnotized.

How to Start Self Hypnosis
The most important first step in any hypnosis is to have a goal. If you drop into hypnosis without one, what are you going to do? Just root around for a while? Hypnosis is very pleasant, and is a good way to relax, but we're here to do some work.

So, step #1 is to define one, single, easily explained goal. For the purposes of this article, the goal will be:

"I am getting a longer, thicker penis."

This goal has many advantages: first, it's clear and specific, second, it's easily understood, third, it isn't going to be misunderstood, and forth, it's a positive message. That last one needs a little explanation: the subconscious mind cannot work with a message stated in the negative.

Here's an example: try to NOT think of a white rabbit. You can't do it! You can't NOT think of a thing, you can only not do it by replacing it with something else that you DO want to think about. That's important.

Put another way, you don't want to use this as your goal:

"I don't want a small penis."

That translates in your mind to: "I want a small penis." It actually drops the "don't" - definitely, NOT the goal you want your mind holding.

Another example:

"I don't smoke."

This gets translated to: "I smoke." A far better statement is:

"I am a non-smoker."

This will carry the correct message. So, always state your messages in the positive (as "I WILL do something", rather than, "I WON'T do something").

Here's the suggestion you'll want to use later:

"I am getting a longer, thicker penis."

When you establish goals for your own hypnosis, be sure to follow those same four rules - clear and specific, easily understood, can't be misinterpreted, and is stated in the positive. You might even want to write it down on a piece of paper to use in the next step.

Getting Into Self Hypnosis
In order to self-hypnotize, you've got to eliminate the outside distractions. So, find yourself a quiet, comfortable chair somewhere that you won't be disturbed for about 30 minutes. You should disconnect the phone, close the windows, etc. I don't recommend that you lay down on a couch or bed. This is because you'll be too relaxed and may fall asleep!

Also, make sure your body is comfortable. Remove your shoes, and any binding clothing, but be sure to be comfortably warm. When you sit, recline slightly without your arms or legs crossed. Just place your hands at your sides or on your thighs. Try to eliminate any "pressure points".

Now, once everything is quiet and comfortable, you're ready to begin. Start by taking 4-5 slow, deep breaths through your nose, and exhaling through your mouth. On the last one, let your eyes close comfortably. Continue breathing in this slow, "in through the nose, out through the mouth" way.

Next, draw your attention to your feet. Become aware of how they feel. Then, try to imagine how they would feel if they were completely relaxed, with the toes just hanging off the ends. Imagine them warm as though they were sitting in a warm bath of water. Keep doing this until you can really feel it.

Next, allow that warmth and relaxation to travel up into your calves. Imagine them as warm and completely relaxed, with all the muscles just hanging. Try to imagine them as very heavy - as though a large dictionary was placed on top of them.

Once you get this feeling going, let it travel up into your thighs, the your hips, your stomach, your lower back, your chest, your upper back, your shoulders, down your arms, into your forearms, your wrists, your hands and your fingers.

Next, work back up your hands and arms, into your shoulders, your neck, the back of your head, over your head, your forehead, your face and mouth and back down into your next.

Don't try to rush this process. It should take about 10-15 minutes. Your body needs to be very relaxed to proceed to the next step.

Now, focus on your breathing again. Make sure you're taking slow, full, deep breaths. When you get the rhythm of this count backwards from 5 to 0 with each breath. Imagine yourself slipping downwards very comfortably and calmly. When you hit 0, just say to yourself, "ready".

At this point, you can begin focusing on the real reason we've done all of this: establishing self-confidence.

Working Under Hypnosis

At this point, you want to begin focusing on your calmness and relaxation. When you've become deeply aware of your relaxation, focus on the suggestion from before:

"I am getting a longer, thicker penis."

Each time you say those words, try to imagine yourself somewhere that you will be using your larger penis. Imagine yourself being totally confident and comfortable when you engage in being sexual. Imagine your partner complimenting you on your larger penis.

Repeat this senario with your partner . If you find yourself starting to feel anxious or fake, stop and calm yourself again, then state your suggestion and try it again. This is going to take some practice, because you've spend your life practicing the opposite! So, work on it until it feels natural.

You want to do this as though you're looking out of your own eyes. Don't "watch" yourself do it, see it as you're actually doing it!

This should only take about 5-10 minutes; although it's often difficult to gauge time when you're under, so don't worry about the length of time. Just do it at least 6 times, or more if you'd like.

The Proper Way to Get Out of Self Hypnosis
This is very important! Don't ignore this step! You must do this before you do anything else including answer the door or phone, turning on the TV, talking to your dog - anything!

To get out of self hypnosis, do this:
First, draw your attention back to your breathing. When it is calm and regular, start slowly counting each breath from 0 up to 5. As you say each number in your mind, imagine yourself coming back up, and becoming more and more awake. You'll also begin to notice that you're feeling very good. This is a normal part of guided visualization.

Once you get to "5", give yourself the command "Awake!", take a deep breath and open your eyes. This will always represent to you, being alert, awake, and feeling even better than you did before.

What to Expect

As I said earlier, this is going to take a little while, but the benefits are worth it! Plan to spend at least once a day for the next 3 weeks doing this. If possible, try to make it about the same time of the day. Don't do it just before you go to bed or when you first wake up however. You'll probably just fall asleep, negating the benefits.

What you'll notice is that, by practicing this in your mind, you will actually become more confident around women! You're not going to go from a little boy (or girl!) to James Bond over night, but you WILL start getting the benefits.

The key is to invest some time and effort first.

Attention Men!

I am now going to tell you something really important about what women want. Specifically, what they want in a man. Be advised that I will be dealing with a monumental but accurate generalization. It's not meant to apply to every female who ever lived. I bow to the variability within and between the sexes. Nonetheless, I think I am on fairly safe ground here. My assertion has the undeniable thud of the obvious.

What women want from men is confidence. Not arrogance, not dominance, not one-upsmanship, not bravado, not macho heroics. Women just love truly confident men.

Confidence is an attitude thing. In particular, male confidence frequently manifests as an I-can-handle-it attitude. This does not mean that feelings are denied. It doesn't imply an absence of doubt, fear, or vulnerability. A delusion of total self sufficiency is not required.

Confidence simply says: "I can deal with it . . . somehow . . ." This attitude doesn't even have to be constant, just generally present in the face of most life challenges.

For hundreds of thousands of years of human development, a confident attitude was much easier for men to gain and display than it is now. There was hardly any choice. Until recently, the demands of physical survival were the primary issue in pair-bonding and confidence-building roles directly related to survival were far more apparent. Everyone could see the skilled hunter, the dedicated farmer and stockman, the courageous protector, the skilled artisan, the accomplished leader, the sage teacher, the men who didn't give up in the face of threatening set-backs. Why hell! There have been times when a women wouldn't even consider a man who couldn't claim to be a good carpenter or a competent dirt mover. These roles, decreed by harsher realities of life than most of us now experience, were obvious advertisements for male virtue.

Unfortunately, the signs indicative of genuine masculine confidence are confusing today and gender roles are a chaotic mess. The external trappings of confidence have been confused with the poor substitute of consumer status symbols. But women instinctually look for clues to a man's level of confidence . . . and test it to the limit . . . but not in the old-fashioned way.

Now for the good news. Since confidence is primarily an attitude toward meeting challenges of all kinds, and there's no shortage of challenges in the world, the essential attitude can still be cultivated and demonstrated. Willingness to face important struggles is still the ultimate key to a woman's respect.

In contemporary times, a man may express this dynamic in many conventional ways. He can show his integrity through competence in his work, education, sports, hobbies, child rearing, or doing home improvements. Actually, we can include here any thing which involves mastering a new learning curve and overcoming ego uncertainties.

Now, if a man really wants to do some crash confidence building, he can try the old-fashioned approach. He can expose himself to bigger risks: jump out of a few airplanes, compete at martial arts, lift weights, climb sheer cliffs with only the strength of his fingertips for security, take on dangerous political controversies, start an unusual new business with more enthusiasm than capital, confront provocative teenagers, or spend days in the wilderness with only his tom-tom for company. It's not the specific activity that matters, what matters is what goes on in the man's head that makes him feel masterful.

Or . . . a man can cut to the bottom line, avoid physically and financially dangerous experiences, and go for the really big risk, the ultimate emotional challenge. He can work directly at becoming more confident with women themselves. That's riskier than cliff climbing, anyway! Although a woman likes to believe a man is willing to deal with a lot of things, what really counts is that he is able to deal with her. A healthy, mature woman resists impassioned commitment to a man who is afraid of her sexuality, her intelligence, or her emotions.

Gentlemen, the Everest you need to climb isn't a mountain, it's a strong female. This means gaining confidence and empathy in approaching and relating to women on many levels, in the face of rejections real or imagined. And since this is the riskiest venture of all, the pay-off is, appropriately, the biggest.

Penis Weight Hanging

Hanging 101 + Sample Routine Post #1

1. This can not be emphasized enough -- pain is BAD!!! If it's anything beyond a dull burn, you're doing something wrong.

2. Never hang erect or partially erect!

3. Before hanging, remember to warm-up the area with a hot rice sock, heating pad or hot towel.

4. Limit sets to 20 minutes, followed by a 10 minute break and at least a couple of minutes of light jelqing to restore circulation.

5. Pay close attention to the color/temperature of your glans. Dark/cold=bad.

6. Remember to squeeze the blood from the glans while you're attaching your hanger.

7. Start your Thera-Band/swimcap material back a quarter of an inch from the beginning of your cotton wrap.

8. Retighten hanger after weight is applied.

9. Hanging is not a weight lifting competition. Too much, too soon will do more to slow down your overall gains than too little will. Start with a pound or two and move up very, very gradually, adding a pound or two after each week of hanging. Below is a copy of ledzep's beginning hanging record as an example.

Bib's (Bigger) LOT Theory

A few guys have written asking me about the theory. I thought it was posted here, but I cannot find it. So, I cut and pasted it.

There has been a bunch of other threads here, and at Thunders about the theory, so this is by no means the end all of the explanations. Further, I did not do a very good job of explaining it, so you are welcome to ask questions.

Theory:

The shorter, tighter or higher the ligs, the higher the angle required to lose ‘tugback’ when stretching the penis and kegaling at the same time.

The shorter, tighter, or higher the ligs, the more ‘inner’ penis, and the more quick, easy gains which are possible, and possibly the more total gains which are possible as the ligs are lengthened.

The longer, looser, or lower the ligs, the less ‘inner’ penis, and the harder the gains and possibly less total gains which are possible.

The longer time spent PEing, the lower the angle at which tugback is lost due to a lengthening of the ligs. This assumes PE is performed at lower angles, at least somewhat, by all subjects.

The less time spent PEing, the higher the angle at which tugback is lost because ligs have not been stretched.

For those with shorter, tighter, or higher ligs, a lengthening of the ligs correlates with a lowering of angle of tugback loss, and an increase in penis length.

Assumption: Those with more length gains started with shorter, tighter, or higher ligs and their ligs have been lengthened through PE. It would be nice to have starting measures for tugback loss and erection angle, but I think the stats speak to this problem. I know that for myself, before PE, my tugback loss angle HAD to be extremely high. If you started with high ligs, and you have made good gains, you will probably recognize that your entire package is now lower, indicating an increase in the length of your ligs.

As concerns erection angle vs. tugback angle loss, it must be realized that other factors affect erection angle other than lig tightness such as erection strength and tunica shape.

Analysis

I used Excel to create a table of data. Then, I correlated the variables in pairs. The only calculation made from the data was gains per month. The variable, “loss of tugback” is abbreviated as LOT. It is measured from 12:00 or straight up, to 6:00 or straight down.

The following is a rough analysis of the data given by the above 24 guys. With only 24 subjects, the results cannot be deemed to be conclusive, but I think it points to some definite tendencies and some rough guidelines can be produced. Hopefully, we can get some more participants to improve the reliability of the theories.

I will look at the data in three groupings and discuss the relevant correlations: Total participants, guys over and under 1.5 inches of total gains, and guys over and under 0.083 inches gained per month.

Total data:

Only minor correlations can be found when looking at all participants. Apart from things that are obvious, such as total length being highly correlated with gains (0.875), there is only one relevant correlation. That is as time goes on, gains per month goes down, correlation= -0.605.

There are minor negative correlations between LOT and total length (-0.27), and LOT and gains (-0.24). This is a result of big gainers lowering the LOT as gains and therefore total length increase.

There is also a slight correlation between LOT and erect angle (0.22). The lower the angle of LOT the more lig stretch and gains. The looser ligs result is a slightly lower erection angle. This shows up in the amount of time spent PEing and erection angle with a (-0.356) correlation.

Gains:

It has been obvious to me for a long time that physiology has a lot to do with gains. I think this can be examined by everyone, and especially new guys by testing the LOT and comparing to others. So, in this context, I wanted to look at two groups, high gainers and low gainers. For this analysis, I divided the two groups by the median total gain which is 1.325 inches. This gave two equal groups. The high gain group contains RB, DLD, Avocet, Dino, SWM, Goingdeep, toid, dasheming, Hobby, luv, Pinocchio, and me. The low group contains restnom, Growingup, WestLA, Long2Blong, Realpuffus, Phat, Johan, SS4, Sappy, j384, Penismith, and mike2002.

Things become somewhat clearer when looking at the data in this manner. It becomes obvious that for the high group, as LOT goes down, gains (-0.768) and total length (-0.712) go up. For the low group, there was NO correlation.

Truly interesting is the correlation between erection angle and LOT. For the high group, as LOT goes down, erection angle goes up (-.044). For the low group, as LOT goes up, erection angle goes up (.053)!!

Also, the relation to time and gains per month is clear; (-0.73) for the high group, and (-0.63) for the low group.

Gains per month:

The next step was to further group the data by dividing into two groups according to gains per month. This gives the ability to see the problem with hard gainers.

The median of the 24 subjects is 0.083inches per month. Those in the higher group are; RB, DLD, avocet, Growingup, WestLA, Long2Blong, goingdeep, toid, dasheming, Hobby, luv, and me. Those in the lower group are; retsnom, Realpuffus, Dino, SWM, Phat, Johan, SS4, Sappy, Pinocchio, j384, Penismith, and mike2002.

These groupings revealed some interesting results.

For the high group, as total length is increased, LOT is decreased (-0.75). For the low group, there is a small POSITIVE correlation (0.19). Also, for the high group, as gains go up, LOT goes down (-0.756). For the low group, as gains go up, LOT also goes UP (0.433)!

For the high group, as time goes up, LOT goes down ((-0.72). For the low group, there is again a small POSITIVE correlation (0.25).

Summary:

So what does all this mean? I think the best way to examine it is to look at individuals. First, as I said before, the assumption is that big gainers started with high tight ligs. That was my situation. Looking at the big gainers, the more gains, the lower the LOT. This seems to firmly indicate a lengthening of the ligs allowing a significant portion of penis to be revealed. The biggest gainer, DLD has the lowest LOT, 6:00. RB, avocet, toid, and I are tied for 2nd at 7:00. While some of us could profit from more lig work, the majority of future gains will come from tunica stretch. We have some long ligs.

The other members of the high group, while getting good gains, probably mostly from lig stretch, still have good potential for gains in the ligs, either hanging or stretching at lower angles. Dasheming has already gained 1.75”, but has a LOT of 9. He might be a big’un some day.

Gains problems in the lower group are evident. The problems of Johan, Sappy, SS4, j384, Penismith, and mike2002 are fairly plain. They all have very low LOTs, but not much gain to show for it. Their LOTs are as low as the big gainers. To me, this indicates that they ALWAYS had a low exit point and therefore little inner penis. They did not have the opportunity to get any easy gains. Through hard work, several of them have made gains over time, probably mainly through tunica stretch. They should concentrate on working the upper angles of hang or stretch. Also, DLD twists and upward lateral stretches might be the ticket. With consistent dedicated stress, at the upper angle, they should make progress.

Retsnom, Realpuffas, Dino, SWM, Phat, and Pinocchio are a little different. They do have potential in their ligs to gain more length from lig stretch, even though some of them have already gained pretty well. But they have had to put in a tremendous amount of time and effort to get those gains, probably because of some really genetically tough collagenous tissues. Sometimes, that is just the way it is. The only thing to do is try to find ways to increase the stress, still working lower angles, and they should be able to get plenty more gains.

I had a lot of other crap I wanted to write about, but damned if I can remember what they were. Questions would be appreciated.

How to determine LOT

I would be happy to have a high LOT, and I´d say that mine must be at about 8:00 currently, but there is still a minor amount of tugback at that level. It´s small, but there. In fact, there´s a tiny amount till very far down. <

It could be two things. First, you could have a range of angles where the ligs and tunica are taking various amount of the stress. This would cause a gradual loss of tugback. Or second, you might be going by feel instead of seeing the loss of tugback. Do not judge by the flex of the PC, but rather by seeing the actual tugback.

This is not correct. Some guys start out with low LOTs and some start out with high LOTs. The guys that have gained a lot and are low, probably had high LOTs to begin with. That is the theory. An LOT of 8:00 is medium.

When the actual, visual tugback is gone completely, the ligs are taking all the stress.

While doing the LOT test, many guys have reported movement at the top base of their penis while doing the kegal. I think for most, if not all, this is the LIGAMENTS reacting to the kegal.

When you begin to see the Loss OF Tugback of the head, and you see a movement in your base, that should definitively be your LOT. That is the exact point that your PC no longer affects the outer shaft, and the energy from the PC is affecting the ligs.

I think the reason some guys are having problems finding their exact LOT, is because they are getting some head movement, because the PC is working through the ligs, and the ligs are pulling back the outer shaft slightly.

Don't make it too difficult. If the head does not pull back much, and the base is 'flexing', that is your LOT.

Let me be a little clearer. On some thread, I said that when you see a leesening of the tugback, it might be because the ligs and shaft are both taking some of the tugback from the PC. This could be valid. But if the base is flexing, the ligs, and the head is showing a slight tugback, then it is probably the tugback being transferred through the ligs to the outer shaft without the outer shaft being affected by the inner shaft. Then, your LOT would be where the tugback begins to be reduced, and the base flexes.

Does this make sense, or do I need to explain it better.

One of you technical writers need to work on this.

As you move the angle of stretch down, and continually kegal every few seconds, the point at which you no longer see a tugback is your LOT. If you see very little tugback, but rather a flex at the base, that is probably your LOT. IOW, disregard a small tugback caused by the ligs flexing.

Only if you stretched soooo hard that the PC muscle cannot pull anything back at any angle. Or if you did not stretch hardly at all. Just pull out by the head enough to extend to about the maximum without straining too hard.

I doubt any type of upward stretching would be a waste. If anything, you possibly raised your LOT.

I do not think it would be a complete waste, simply less efficient. If you are stretching down, and engaging the ligs, with a low LOT, and no potential for gains from lig stretch, the the stress taken by the ligs will naturally detract from or eliminate the stress imposed on the inner tunica. IOW, you could possibly consistantly stretch at an angle that would not give any gains from lig stretch, and yet not impact the inner tunica at all. Of course, you would still be stretching the outer tunica. Sabe?

Sure it is. You can be born that way. Many guys have naturally low LOTs.

Is penis enlargement for real?

However, if regularly flexed to its limits, the retraction will become less than 100 percent (enlargement in the flaccid state); if regularly flexed to its limits, the inflation potential will also be increased (greater enlargement in the erect state). For industrial rubber, these would be the effects of wear and tear.

Of course, the male erectile tissue is no dead rubber but live cells. Live cells have the power to adapt to a challenge. Just take your biceps, for example. If the load on muscle cells is high and occurs regular, these cells will respond by enlarging themselves.

Erectile tissue is not the kind of muscle you have in your biceps. Nevertheless, they have the same power to adapt to a challenge. NEW YORK - For many American office workers, the day begins with deleting spam. These days, a lot of electronic junk mail hits below the belt by seeking to profit from many men’s deepest fear — that their penises are too small.

From the vague “Expand your horizons” to the blunt ”Want to increase your penis size?,” the hard sell of penis-enlargement products plays on men’s insecurity, experts say.

Virtually anyone with an e-mail address is bombarded daily with messages touting penis pills, herbal supplements and the latest rage, penis patches, all with the same inflated promise that they will enlarge a man’s sexual organ.

Herbal supplements marketed as “penis pills,” which contain ingredients ranging from soy protein and damiana leaf to ginkgo biloba and ginseng root, and dermal applications like the ”penis patch,” claim to be capable of lengthening men’s penises by up to 4 inches in as many months.

But no peer-reviewed studies comparing men who used the products to a placebo group have ever been conducted. Since the products have disclaimers stating they are not intended to treat medical problems, they fall outside of the regulatory process. The Federal Trade Commission says there is no evidence the products have any effect.

A primal obsession
Psychiatrists say the marketers sending out such messages are hoping to take advantage of a primal obsession.

“The penis is a primary symbol of male sexuality and dominance,” said Dr. Frank Muscarella, a clinical and evolutionary psychiatrist at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida.

Muscarella, co-author of “Psychological Perspectives on Human Sexuality,” said the size of a man’s penis “is indicative of masculinity, prowess and dominance.”

“On a psychological level, men buy into that. And even if they don’t, advertising does,” he added, citing a recent truck billboard that showed a sexy cowboy crouching with a pickup between his legs.

Muscarella said men tend to focus on the more “concrete” aspects of sexual attributes like shape, form and size. He likened it to the male attraction to, and often obsession with, women’s breasts.

Little basis for comparison
An obsession with penis size is not a uniquely American phenomenon, said Virginia Sadock, a psychiatrist at New York University Medical Center.

“This is not limited to the United States by any means,” Sadock said, noting that in Japan there is a condition known as ”koro,” in which a man suffers from delusions that his penis is actually shrinking back into his stomach.

And Muscarella said that the French are known for trading rumors about men with small penises, often accompanied by jokes and derision.

At the heart of the problem, Sadock said, is that since men don’t see many penises other than their own, they have little basis for comparison.

The exception, she said, is pornography, which gay men view more that straight men. And comparing one’s penis size to a porn star’s could lead even a well-endowed man to feel inadequate.

So perhaps it’s not surprising that New York’s gay community self-help arena has expanded beyond problems such as alcoholism and overeating to the affliction of a small penis.

“What is Small, Anyway,” is the working name of a support group in Greenwich Village, which acts as a safe haven for gay men who have small penises, or feel as though they do.

Brisk sales over Internet
Participants complain about a gay community in which men brag about being bigger than they are and a country where big is king. Like at other support groups, most in this group are grateful just to be in a room together with people trying to confront the same problem.

A slim man with reddish hair said at a recent meeting he is made to feel he doesn’t measure up. “In our community the idea of what’s average (size) is very distorted,” he said.

Purveyors of the products insist they have received over 90 million orders but are notoriously hard to track down or even identify, and typically they refuse to speak with reporters when found.

According to Wired magazine, some 6,000 people ordered pills from Goringly.biz through the Amazing Internet Products Web site over a four-week period, spending on average $100 each for two bottles. Wired traced the ownership of AIP to a 19-year-old New Hampshire chess whiz, Braden Bournival, who shied away from a reporter for the magazine who approached him at a chess tournament last summer.

Relief from the barrage of spam may yet be in sight however after Congress passed a law aimed at sharply restricting unsolicited e-mail ads.

Most guys would love an extra inch or two. For some, the desire is overwhelming. They are convinced that a larger penis will mean a larger life. Unfortunately, the methods for achieving this questionable goal range from the ridiculous to the reprehensible.

WEIGHTS
A few cultures, such as the Karamojong of northeastern Uganda, practice ritualistic penis stretching. Beginning at puberty, a Karamojong boy hangs circular stone disks from the tip of his penis. When he becomes accustomed to the pain, more disks are added. His penis swings like a pendulum. By the time he's a teenager, he may carry as much as 20 pounds from his penis, which could measure 18 inches or longer. To avoid sitting on these taffylike appendages, Karamojong men tie their cocks into knots. Ambitious Westerners consider the Karamojong an inspiration. One website recommends cutting a four-by-eight-inch section from a rubber swim cap and wrapping it around your semierect penis. Secured with a rubber band or tape, the piece provides a base for an S hook from which you can hang weights for hours. "Wearing shorts, you can hang penis and weight over the edge of your computer chair as you work," suggests Tom Hubbard, who runs the site. "Standing, you can carefully hang your penis through the fly opening of pants." An alternate method uses pipe insulation and a hose clamp.

TENSION
Some specialty products, such as the PeniStretcher, tug on the penis using springs. To use the device, a man sticks his erection through a silicone ring and down a cylinder formed by two adjustable brass axles. A support holds the head in place. The PeniStretcher costs $280, which is reasonable considering the high end of the market: A similar product that arrives in a cushioned mahogany box sells for $990. The poor man's technique is to place one end of an elastic band around the head and the other around the leg just above the knee. The user adjusts the tension by moving his leg.

MILKING
This isn't masturbation but an intense nonerotic exercise. The basic technique practiced by the ancients, pro baseball players and two-year-old boys is to gently pull on the head of the penis several times a day. Once that's mastered, the milker begins a more rigorous routine. He positions himself by making an A-OK sign with the thumb and forefinger around the base of his semierection and stroking rapid-fire to the head. The movement is continued with or without lubrication, using alternate hands. Following each session, which should leave the milker sore but not in pain, the milker should slap the penis 25 to 50 times to aid circulation, suggests Hubbard. Cup a hand over the testicles to protect them from low blows.

PUMPS
An airtight plastic cylinder is placed over the penis and a manual or electric pump draws blood into the penis. Pump workouts last 30 to 60 minutes several times a week. "The first time you pump you'll be in awe of the mass of sausage hanging between your legs," Hubbard reports. "Gradually, you'll realize your penis has become about as functional as a sausage; instead of a stream of urine, you can produce only an aerosol spray. You may notice you can't get a firm erection; you may develop red spots on your head from burst capillaries or painful lymph blisters. And the next morning you'll be disappointed to find that all the gains have disappeared." There are dozens of online hucksters who sell instructions for programs that combine stretching, weights and pumps. The Chartham method, for example, involves exercises such as holding your penis under warm water, pinching the surface area of the scrotum and repeatedly grasping the base of the penis until it swells.

HYPNOSIS
A $295 enlargement program developed by MindQuest Hypnotherapy "encourages the hypothalamus to release neurotransmitters to stimulate the pituitary, which in turn releases the hormones needed for penis enlargement." Each day for 12 weeks, the student listens to a 20-minute tape of a woman who offers reassuring words about the size of his cock — a service once offered only by prostitutes. MindQuest also offers "all-natural breast enlargement." It's the same price, but per pair. In his book Penis Size and Enlargement, Gary Griffin recalls visiting a hypnotherapist who "invited us to mentally enter a department store, walk to the counter and flip through the catalog. It was a cock compendium. We were instructed to find the penis that most appealed to us. Then he regressed us to the point of conception. With mental scissors, we snipped out our current penis genes and replaced them with our catalog strand. We visualized our fetus developing a prominent penis. As we entered the world, we watched the doctor and nurses comment on the unusually large penis. We were to picture ourselves at the age of 18 with our catalog cocks hanging halfway down our legs." To help with visualization, the therapist advised Griffin to take a nude snapshot of himself and paste an image of his ideal penis over his own.

PILLS
A variety of mail-order firms sell supplements they claim will boost size. "We discovered the formula while researching herbal treatments for angina in West Africa," an "ethnobotany" researcher claims at one online site. "The medicine man told us, 'It sends the blood where the blood must go.'" The site attempts to close the sale with a touch of reverse psychology: "Sadly, the penis enlargement field has attracted some questionable people selling highly questionable products." A supply of this entry into that nonexclusive club sells for $230.

SURGERY: LENGTH
The typical penis-enlargement surgery costs $4000 to $7000. The surgeon makes an incision in the abdomen above where the penis attaches to the body. Once inside, he snips a crucial ligament that supports erections. The "inner penis" is then tugged away from the bone. Once the wound heals (no sex or masturbation for a month), the penis hangs lower, like the floppy ear of a sad dog. The appearance of added length — an inch at best — is more apparent when the patient is soft. Because its suspensory ligament has been cut, the erect penis no longer stands at full salute. Penis-enlargement surgery is notoriously inconsistent. Many men see no gain in length, because scar tissue reunites the two halves of the sliced ligament. In some cases the penis becomes smaller. Surgeons battle receding dick by hanging weights on the patient or inserting blocking implants. Other risks include permanent numbness and impotence. I love the site. I was browsing around the members section yesterday. It is very organized with lots of crazy exercises that will for sure make anyone's dick longer and thicker. I was suprised at how organised and good looking it was in there. The videos and audio dialogue are great aswell. They help alot. This site will definately help me reach my goal (which is in my sig). Joining this site was one of the best decisions I've made for sure. I encourage all to join. I cannot compare this site to any other pay site, however I could confidently say this is how a paysite should be. I cant see anything that could be done really. Maybe just move all of the different views of the same exercise the the page that the exercise is on. IE have "Video 1", "Video2" etc.

I pretty much agree with every thing that POPP said. This site definately deserves high praise. The exercises, routines and videos are very comprehensive and for the most part easy to follow. Having the video page makes all the difference, it's one thing to read how to do an exercise, but when you can see it being done properly, well, I'll just say that makes it next to impossible to fail with this program. Having the videos takes all the guesswork out of performing the exercises. The only thing that I would change is the MOS tag that floats from the bottom to the top of the video. I find that it is distracting and obstructs the view of the video to a degree and I find myself really looking and still missing some details of what DLD is showing. Is there someway to flash the MOS tag before the exercise is shown? That's the only thing I would like to see changed. Other than that this site rocks!! I think we have some good solid members in the free forum and we are really getting some good input. I just wish there was more about pumping, Ive tried to bring it up in some posts but it seems either we have a lack of pumpers or guys don't want to talk about it.

MOS has been a tremendous source of motivation and inspiration for me personally. Since starting just over a month ago, I've gained 1/4 inch in girth. That is great news for me, as I had been struggling with gains of any kind. The videos were very helpful in visualizing the process. Now I don't have to worry about whether or not I'm doing these things incorrectly. The forums are great, the support is great, and overall the site is quite a valuable entity. Was it worth the 50 clams? Hell yeah! I always told myself that even the smallest gains will make me forget about the money. I forgot about it in the first week I began DLD's phase II. Based on how my unit felt (i.e. thicker, fuller, etc...) after that weeks workout, I knew I would see gains soon. Sure enough when I measured a month later, I was right.

Props must be given to both Jaz and DLD for creating this joint. I'm proud to be a member. PE is so routine for me now, but sometimes I sit back and think how in the hell did I ever think I could make my penis get bigger? Was doing the phase one routine for around 2 weeks,but had to stop for over a week.
Back at it again for the past few days and loving it!
With my limited experience it's hard to contribute much here,but here goes...
The program is really well structured.
Diagrams and videos are great.
For a beginner like myself,the phase one is a great routine to start with before getting into the more advanced routines of phase 2.
Like I said,haven't been at it long enough to notice much yet with gains,..but one thing I can say..is that so far I have had TOTAL support with everything that I am doing.
Every question is answered immediately and I really feel comfortable here.
DLD has been just super and is really eager to help in any way he can.
Always responds to anything I ask,and even checks in regularly to see how things are progressing!
Personally I am very very comfortable here,..with the program,the layout and the great forum where everyone is just so cool and eager to help out.
This is a super site,super program and forum,..and the one major factor that makes it so great -
The guys that are running it.
The price is a steal when you think about all the info,diagrams,videos...

Yes, they are great. I feel that there are areas of improvement with them, but understand new videos have already been shot. Mainly like to see more close-ups and angles

honestly - I like DLD's voice, but there seems to be more information and detail in the texts. It's great with the video, but audio alone isn't very useful IMHO. Now, on the other hand if DLD could narrate some positive visualization imagery, that might be great ..... (sounds of waves & birds in background) "Everyday, my penis grows longer and longer, thicker and thicker..."

Mostly very good

To save space I'll just say that I second everything that has been mentioned thus far. The site is just awesome!

In my desperation for a larger size I have joined three other sites in the past 2 years and did not gain but 1/8 of an inch in length. That my friends was VERY discouraging. I can honestly say that within joining this site that I gained 7/8 of an inch in 6 weeks. Yes 7/8 excited hell yes I am!

The exciting part is that part of these gains were achieved even with major obstacles for me. (1) I screwed up a finger in a work related accident leaving it unusable for a couple of weeks now. (2) My left hand and arm are very weak as a result of 50 plus mini strokes in the last 3 years which were all caused from stress. DLD wrote me a new program that I could use even with these problems.

As far as the price lets be real honest. I didn't have much extra cash either. I figured I could save the money that i normally spent on luxuries like soft drinks and snacks at work and just a couple weeks of video rentals and the cash would be sufficient. It worked I had my 49.95 and began losing weight as a result of not eating junk.. This is an extra bonus for for me as well Never felt better.

With the support that I have received here I would gladly pay ten times the price. I literally feel like a little kid in a candy store. For those considering joining let me just say IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS...... EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought I would take this time to personally thank you. I have been poking around with PE off and on for about 2 years in hopes that it can help me solve my insecurity issues that were set off by one of my friends talking about all the guys she had been with and their sizes.
Your site by far is one of the best in this area and I hope you keep it up. The videos, forums, and drawings really help a person figure out what exactly they should be doing. The other place I subscribed to just had word descriptions of what you were supposed to do, and it just didn't make any sense to me. I also contribute your exercises to my increase in length. I never really have made any gains before but after going through your stages (currently on stage 2) I have gained half an inch bpel and an inch bpfl. As I said I am finally making progress so hopefully this will cure my insecurity problems. Reading about you and your progress along with everybody else's progression has truly been an inspiration to me. My goals are hopefully within reach I just want to reach 8 or 9" non-bpel, I think I can achieve that since currently I am about 6" nbpel and 6.5" bpel (need to get a real ruler instead of this tailors tape I have)

Been doing the program for a week, and have already gained an 1" in length and 1/4 in girth. As I have been PEing for almost a year, I started my routines at the 2nd phase. The exercises have provided me with much soreness, and penile exhaustion, which to me says that I'm getting a good workout! An 1" in length and 1/4 in girth in a week speaks for it's self!

The videos are very explanatory. If you are not sure about a technique, it is great to have a look, so as to make sure you are performing the technique correctly! Good Technique = success

• Does the Audio Dialog help you out?
I prefer the audio, with dialogue. But perhaps they would proove useful, if your computer was a little slow.

• Do you feel you can reach your PE goals with our program?
YES! I feel that at my current size of 8", 9 or 10 will be easy if one is persistent! My goal is 12" x 8"

Would highly recommend this site, I am a life time member at another site (won't mention the name). For over a year now, and nothing has changed at all for it. The same exercises,screen lay out, routines, etc. They just took my $39 and gave in return, rudamentary P.E. exercises and poor quality video's,"Only of basic jelqing and streching" Needless to say I have not been back. Not to say all are the same. Just Matters Of Size offers 100 times as much with great video's, MP3's, great illustrations, directions and support to boot. The pictures of Jen are a bonus.

Hi,
This site is amazing, I am so glad I found it.

The MOS site and community when combined with the old-timers community in Thunder (where I originally heard of DLD and found MOS through a websearch on his name) I feel that I am in good hands.

I think joining the MOS pay-site program is a very wise choice especially for beginners in "the sport" like myself. The phased and clearly laid out program provided the
- support
- structure
- confidence
that I needed to start my PE career.

While the TP and MOS forums are a good way to stay involved, fill in blanks of knowledge and expand ones overall knowledge of the PE universe, I think being the member of a professional program like DLD's is a must if you are a serious beginner.

I've been doing Phase I for about 10 days now and I can say this will surely prove to be the best $50 investment I've ever made.

And yes DLD has been amazing with one on one support. (I corresponded personally with him when I first signed up in late September when I had some PayPal issues). Now that we've had that direct real-time interaction, I feel like I can always go to him for direct help when/if I have questions on PE.

What Is Deep Thrombosis of the Penis? (Blood Clots)

What Is Deep Thrombosis?

Thrombosis is a condition in which blood clots form in a vein. The word thrombosis means forming a blood clot. The clot itself is called a thrombus.

A blood clot is a jelly-like mass of congealed blood. Clotting is the normal way the body stops bleeding and begins healing following injury. Once the clot has done its job, the body absorbs it. Sometimes, however, blood clotting can prove harmful. These become a hazzard when a blood clot forms in a deep vein and remains there.

I think allot of guys are quick to think they have thromboses when it could be a number of different things. Thromboses in the penis is a cord-like thickening and hardening of a superficial vein(s), which result in varying degrees of pain. Basically it is a blood clot. When we do PE the vascularity of our penis changes and larger, bulging veins are a normal part of this process. Many people may think they have this condition when it is merely a change in the vascularity.

In our center between 1992 and 1994 penile Mondor's disease (superficial
dorsal penile vein thrombosis) was diagnosed in 5 patients aged 20-39
years. In all patients the thromboses were noted 24-48 hours after a
prolonged sexual act with or without an intercourse. the main symptom
was a cord-like thickening of the superficial veins, which were painless
or slightly painful. Doppler examination of the superficial dorsal vein
revealed obstruction of the vessels. In 2 patients the retroglandular
plexus was also involved. Patients were treated with anti-inflammatory
medications (Tenoxicam or Ibuprofen). The resolution of the thrombosis
occurred uneventfully within 4-6 weeks. No recurrence or erectile
dysfunction was noted in any of the patients. Penile Mondor's disease is
a benign pathology of the superficial dorsal penile vein and should be
taken into account in the differential diagnosis of penile pathologies.

The basic prescription for this condition is 82mg of aspirin daily, deep penile massage, frequent hot wraps, and avoiding sex and/or girth work.

PE - Penis Enlargement. In this case we refer to methods, which do not require surgical intervention.
REP – Abbreviation for repetition.

DEFINITIONS:

Advanced - A higher level of more extreme exercises.
A-Stretch – A DLD original stretch that involves a dual fulcrum method of stretching. The stretch, when set up correctly, resembles the letter “A”.
Average - Referring to what the majority of the population has for size.
Boner - The penis in its hard state.
Burns/Burners – The feeling when the ligaments have been stretched to their max.
Bundled Blasters – A DLD original exercise where the penis is twisted in it’s flaccid state and applied to the DLD Blaster exercise.
Bundled Stretch - The penis is twisted (one rotation ) in it's flaccid state and stretched. This can be used with the A-Stretch and V-Stretch.
Cementing - It is believed that you will lose recent gains made if you stop doing PE right after the gain. This is the process of making gains permanent.
Circumcision - To remove the foreskin of a male.
Color Inconstancies – Discoloration that may occur from penis enlargement exercises.
Concentration – The act or process of concentrating, especially the fixing of close, undivided attention.
Crank – The twisting rotary motion of a stretch.
Cum - The thick white fluid containing spermatozoa that is ejaculated by the male genital tract.

Dual Fulcrum – A DLD original stretch that utilizes 2 hands where they stretch in opposite direction.
Duration - The time spent doing an exercise.
Ecstatic – The way you'll feel when you realize that you're making gains and your penis is bigger then it's ever been.
Edging - The act of masturbation bringing yourself to the point of ejaculation without having ejaculated.
Ejaculate - The thick white fluid containing spermatozoa that is ejaculated by the male genital tract.
Ejaculation - The expulsion of seminal fluid from the urethra of the penis during orgasm.
Erection - The penis in its hard state.
Extreme – A high level of PE exercise that is only intended for the advanced PE’ers, High Risk of injury for the inexperienced.

Fatigue - The event that occurs after extensive exercise has occurred. It is said that the muscle or tissue is exhausted.
Foreskin - The loose fold of skin that covers the glans of the penis. Also called prepuce.
Frenulum - The small sheet of skin on the underside of the penis which joins the glans to the foreskin.
Fundiform Ligament - One of two ligaments, which support the penis.
Gains - This is the term used to describe any enlargement of the penis.
Girth - The measurement of the circumference of the penis.
Glans - The head of the penis.
Grip - The term used to describe how the penis is grabbed.
Heating Pad – An electrical device used for warm up.
Hot Wrap - A method of warming up and cooling down before and after PE. Hot wraps are beneficial and serve to prevent unnecessary injuries and soreness due to PE.
Impotence – The inability to achieve penile erection or to maintain an erection until ejaculation.
Injury - The damage to soft tissue, ligaments or skin caused by forces or action in PE.
Intensity - The strength of a grip such as the ok sign ( tighter) or strength used to pull in a stretch. Can also be generalized in a overall workout such as increasing reps or duration.
Intermediate - In the PE term it is the moderate level of exercise.
Jelqing - Also known as "jelq", it is the "milking or stoking" of the penis to enlarge it. This method is said to have been used for PE for thousands of years. Jelq is effective for expanding length and girth.
Journal – A place for you to keep your penis enlargement data.
Kegel - Also known as PC or BC exercises. Kegal’s are a voluntary, repetitive contracting and relaxing of the BC muscle.
Lazy Ass Stretch – A DLD original stretch where the penis is stretched back behind the leg and sat on. In this state various movements can be done to create a more intense stretch.
Lubricant - "lube" can help you get the most out of your Jelqing session. Some prefer Baby Oil or Vaseline, others use their own mixtures of different oils or products.
Manual Stretch - A method used to lengthen the penis. It involves grabbing the penis behind the head and pulling in several different directions. This is done to stretch the tissues and ligaments in the penis.
Masturbation - The act of self gratification by strokine ones penis for pleasure.
Maximum Stretch – The greatest amount of stretch you are able to apply.
Measuring – The process of tracking gains through measurements.
Meatus - The opening of the urethra.
Mediation – The process between temporary gains and permanent.
Mid-Shaft – The girth measurement around the middle of the shaft.
Myth – A popular belief or story that has become associated with a person, institution, or occurrence, especially one considered to illustrate a cultural ideal.
Newbie - A person that is new to penis exercises.
OK Grip – The grip used in many penis enlargement exercises. This is when the fore finger and thumb encircle the penis.
Optimum – Getting the most out of an exercise
Orgasm – Peak of sexual excitement, strong feelings of pleasure, a series of involuntary contractions of the muscles of the genitals, usually accompanied by the ejaculation of semen by the male. Also called climax.
Over Training - Is a theory where too much training actually works against the gains. To realize the best gains rest days are essential to avoid this.
PC muscle - The pubococcygeus muscle. It is part of the muscle group that connects the pubic bone to the tailbone.
Pelvic Bone – The bone located directly behind the penis.
Performance Anxiety – A fear prior to sexual activity that could effect erection and/or performance.
Penis - The male reproductive organ. The average size is disputed, most internet surveys claim around 6"; closer to 5.5" is probably a little more accurate.
Peyronie's Disease - A condition which causes an unnatural bend in the erect penis.
Phases – The description given to different levels of the Matters of Size program.
Plateau – After making gains, when a person has reached a point of very slow or no gains, he is said to have reached a plateau.
Pre Cum – A small amount of semen that drips from the glans with no orgasm.
Premature Ejaculation – More rapid occurrence of climax and ejaculation in the male during sexual intercourse than he or his partner wishes.

Shaft – The long part of the penis below the glans (head).
Scrotum - The external pouch that contains the testes.
Semi – The penis in a half hard/erect state.
Staying Power – The ability to delay orgasm during sexual activity.
Stretch – The act of pulling on you penis. Can be done straight out, left right and down.
Stretch Marks – Red or white marks that may appear when you lengthen, widen, or distend the penis.
Squeezes - Girth or head enlargement exercises done by squeezing one area of the penis thereby forcing blood into another area.
Super-Sets – This term describes the joining of 2 or more exercises in succession to increase intensity.
Suspensory Ligament - One of two ligaments that support the penis.
Supplements - Various chemicals and herbs taken to increase circulation and/or libido. They will NOT, by themselves, make your penis grow.

Testis – The reproductive gland in a male vertebrate. synonyms: balls, testicles, nuts
Testicle Health – This is a routine geared at increasing sperm count, testicle size and early detection warnings for testicular problems.
Thrombosed Vein - A condition in which one of the penile veins bulge out, harden, and become painful. Basically a blood clot or inflamed vein. This can be the result of overzealous jelqing or pumping. Hot wraps, an aspirin a day and no PE will help with the recovery. synonyms: Thrombosis, Thromboses
Tunica - The thick, fibrous sheath that covers the corpora cavernosa.
Un-Circumcised – A male with the prepuce of the penis intact.
Urethra - The passage through which urine flows.
Vasectomy - A surgical procedure that is used to cut the Ductus (vas) deferens to eliminate male fertility.
Visualization – To form a mental image.
V-Stretch A variation on manual stretching where you pull your penis out with one hand and press down on the shaft with the other hand.
Warm-Up/Warm-Down – This is the process done to prepare the penis for exercise or aid in recovery after exercise.

June 5, 2003 - Giving Americans a first glimpse of an industry flourishing at the intersection of larceny and libido, authorities in Arizona are seizing the assets of a Scottsdale company that sold more than $74 million worth of pills that it claimed would enlarge penises or breasts, make the consumer taller or hairier — even sharpen his or her golf game. But despite such audacious claims, the company — C.P. Direct — would likely still be gouging the gullible if its founders hadn’t decided to also illegally charge consumers’ credit cards, industry insiders say.

The C.P. Direct case, apparently one of the first criminal prosecutions of a seller of “body enhancement” supplements, will do nothing to halt the avalanche of e-mail touting products that claim the ability to turn your Volkswagen into a Chevy Suburban, anatomically speaking. But it has triggered concern among other purveyors of pills, creams and nutritional products promising too-good-to-be-true results.

“Other sellers have toned down their ad copy a bit because of what happened to the C.P. Direct guys,” said A.J. “Big Al” Alfaro, whose forsize.com Web site touts a strenuous regimen of stretching and exercise as the true path to penis expansion. “You’ve got to be careful what you say. Even with the exercises, I can’t promise anything.”

The case also has opened a window on just how lucrative the painless body enhancement business can be, especially if you’re willing to ignore regulatory niceties and consumer-protection statutes.

Under a settlement of a civil complaint announced last month by the Arizona attorney general’s office, the state is seizing 13 luxury homes and property valued at more than $20 million, a fleet of expensive automobiles and tens of millions of dollars of cash from C.P. Direct and its main officers, Michael Consoli, Geraldine Consoli and Vincent Passafiume, all of Scottsdale.

‘Gross ... alterations' guaranteed
Prosecutors described the assets as the proceeds of the fraudulent sale of “herbal-based nutritional supplements … guaranteed to induce gross physical alterations of the human body.”

In a parallel criminal case, Michael Consoli, 45, and Passafiume, 29, Consoli’s nephew, also are expected to be handed a year in jail when they are sentenced on state fraud and money laundering charges on July 21. A third defendant, Suzanne Rye, 32, Passafiume’s girlfriend and a business associate, also pleaded guilty as part of a deal with prosecutors but is not expected to serve any jail time under the prosecution’s sentencing recommendation.

Court documents filed in the case show that the company’s big money-earner was the Longitude penis-enlargement pill, which it described in advertisements as “a breakthrough product that will make your penis grow until you are satisfied with your new size.” The ad recommended that users should discontinue the pills after reaching nine inches in length to avoid discomforting sexual partners.

The pills were advertised on Howard Stern’s nationally syndicated radio show, in men’s magazines, including Playboy, Penthouse and Maxxim, and over the Internet, though it is unclear whether the company or its network of “affiliates” was responsible for waves of spam touting Longitude.

The company also offered a breast-enlargement pill — Full and Firm, advertised as an “implant in a bottle” that would increase the bust size of the consumer by “two or three cup sizes” in a matter of weeks — as well as other capsules said to perform their own medical miracles: Follicure (grow hair), Stature (increase height by up to four inches) and Long Jack (improve golf game).

Larry Warfield, the court-appointed receiver in the case, said the company sold $74 million worth of Longitude, Full And Firm and Stature in the two years before agents from the U.S. Customs Service and the Arizona Department of Public Safety shut the business down last year. A company employee who cooperated with the investigation estimated that Longitude accounted for 90 percent of the company’s sales.

But Desi Rubalcaba, the prosecuting attorney handling the case for the attorney general’s office, said the Consolis and Passafiume may have earned more than that. “That’s been a bone of contention because they operated another business (that allegedly engaged in fraudulent practices) prior to that,” he said.

No tests, no experts
According to court documents, when agents served a search warrant on C.P. Direct’s offices on May 23, 2002, Rye said that she and Passafiume studied ingredients listed on Web sites advertising similar products before concocting the formula for Longitude. She acknowledged that they had never consulted any medical experts or done any scientific testing of the product, contrary to claims on the C.P. Direct Web site, the documents said.

To the surprise of none of the investigators, analyses of the company’s various products conducted after the search showed they were “all the same thing,” said Customs Agent Steve Alair.

Investigators also brought in a noted endocrinologist, Dr. Glenn Braunstein, to examine the pills’ ingredients.

“I am unaware of any scientific or medical evidence that can support or justify the advertising representations made for the Longitude formula as to its effect on penis length,” he wrote in court documents.

A law enforcement source, who spoke with MSNBC.com on condition of anonymity, put it more succinctly: “The only thing that was increasing was the size of the perpetrators’ bank accounts.”

That rapid rise was fueled in part by the company’s refusal to provide promised refunds to unhappy customers and fraudulent credit card billing practices, according to the court papers. Most customers who called the company’s toll-free line seeking to stop automatic monthly delivery of the product or to demand their money back were unable to get through, and those who did were promised refunds that never were sent, the papers said.

Warfield, who believes that between 350,000 and 500,000 people fell for the scam, is responsible for selling the seized assets and reimbursing the victims. He said he expects to disburse about $35 million — less than half of what the company took in through its fraudulent sales — to those purchasers he can locate. Most of the missing money went to pay the company’s advertising costs, which Warfield said were around $1 million a month.

“I have no comfort whatsoever as to the validity of the company’s records,” he said, urging those who purchased the product to contact his office through the Web site he has established to keep victims abreast of developments.

A niche divided
Also uncomfortable with the recent developments are “Big Al” Alfaro and colleagues who say they are traveling the high road to penis enlargement by offering instruction on how to stretch and strengthen the organ through exercise.

“What we do works,” said Brandon Reece, president of Reece Marketing of St. Joseph, Mo., who has operated penilefitness.com since 1999. “You get tiny little fiber tears in the cells, similar to what happens with a muscle. It heals and becomes a little stronger, a little larger.”

Reece said the idea that a pill could enlarge the male sex organs makes nowhere near as much sense.

“When you take a pill, it goes through your whole body,” he said. “If a pill could make your penis grow by somehow affecting the soft tissue, it would swell your nipples and lips and nostrils as well.”

But both Alfaro, who works as a consultant to several penis enlargement pill sellers, and Reece said that C.P. Direct would likely still be selling its pills today if it hadn’t illegally charged customers’ credit cards without reauthorization.

“They had a big problem with consumer complaints,” Alfaro said. “A lot of them were placed on autoship and they couldn’t stop. When you do things like that, you’re going to get cracked down on.”

At the federal level, the Federal Trade Commission hasn’t filed any complaints against any companies offering penis-enlargement products, despite the dubious nature of their claims.

But Janet Evans, a staff attorney, said the agency has “done a whole lot” in the area of fraudulent claims by makers of supplements and body-enhancement products, including halting the sale of the Isis System, a dietary supplement and topical cream purported to enlarge breasts, and a suite of bogus Viagra-like impotence-treatment products. The agency also refers cases to states, which can levy tougher penalties against fraudulent sellers, she noted.

Careful selection of targets
But Evans acknowledged that, out of necessity, the agency has to carefully choose its targets.

“We look at the complaints, look at the cost of the product, is there a safety issue?” she said. “… We could bring 100 cases a day. You try to pick cases that will get the message out.”

The FTC also is searching for solutions to the problem of unsolicited e-mail, otherwise known as spam, a significant component of which is made up of offers for health or body-related products.

Stu Sjouwerman, founder and chief operating officer of Sunbelt Software, developer of “I Hate Spam” filter, said that a check of a recent random sample of spam indicated that between 23 and 25 percent of the email was offering such products, mainly penis- or breast-enlargement products, weight-loss medications or prescription drugs.

With e-mail levels said to be approaching 40 billion a day worldwide, and estimates suggesting that about 40 percent of the email is spam, that would translate to nearly 4 billion health- and body-related product pitches circling the globe daily, he said.

While the FTC acknowledges it is not close to devising a solution to the spam problem, many observers give the agency high marks for reining in some of the most egregious frauds on the Internet.

“They have a budget and their philosophy is that if there’s a product that’s probably harmless, they’re not going to worry about it because they have to put their money where it will do the most good,” said Dr. Ira Sharlip, founder and immediate past president of the Sexual Medicine Society.

Sharlip said blame for the wide-open marketing of dubious — and sometimes dangerous — supplements properly rests with Congress, which in 1994 passed the Dietary Supplement Act.

“That so weakened the ability of the FDA to do something about claims, it almost put them out of business,” he said.

Limits to government's role
But Sharlip and others in the medical profession say that consumers can’t count on government to shield them from every fraud that comes down the pike, particularly in the age of the Internet.

“People are getting all different things to enhance their appearance and sexuality … like having surgeries on their penises and vaginas,” said Al Cooper, a sex therapist in the San Francisco Bay Area and an MSNBC.com contributor. “Before they go in for a $6,000 surgery, they’ll try 50 dollars worth of pills, so they’re susceptible to this kind of thing.”

Stephen Barrett, a retired psychiatrist who operates the quackwatch.org Web site, said that consumers have to develop some defense mechanisms that will enable them to sniff out at least the most obvious frauds, or face the consequences.

“I think that the average person thinks that the government protects us and that if (a product’s claims) weren’t valid, somehow or other it wouldn’t be allowed,” he said. “Obviously, that needs to change.”

Warfield, the receiver in the C.P. Direct case, isn’t holding his breath.

Do Penis Enlargement Pills Work? Part 3

I have never tried one of these things but I plan on adding it into my routine at least until I start the Pill project. It looks like a very nice piece of equipment and I think it will be a decent supplement to my current routine. Currently I am doing this:

Here is where I will insert my Extender routine. I am thinking 3 hours use will aid in my stretching efforts.

Girth Routine: SLOW SQUASH JELQS:
MENTAL STATE:
Highly sexual. I look at a session with the same frame of mind I would with masturbation or sex. I want to be highly aroused and ready to enjoy the session. I like to be laying down with a good porno on with total privacy.

TIME:
I set a time in advance (sometimes I go beyond that time) I usually dedicate 45 minutes to the session. I do not count how many I am doing my one and only goal is MAXIMUM EXPANSION for each and every session. I can tell by looking at my GIRTH that I am fully engorged and this is where I want to be as this is where GIRTH gains are. One rep of this exercise can last as long as 3 minutes for me (it really depends on endurance and hand strength) My hands get very cramped and I need to switch positions every 5 minutes or so. As time goes on your hands will get stronger.

THE EXERCISE:
I get myself fully erect. Once I have an optimum erection I will kegel as much blood into my penis as possible than with one hand (as shown) I clamp off at the base. I need some room to move the blood around so I will squeeze my glans releasing a small amount of blood than I clamp off again. The hand clamped off at the extreme base slowly and intensely jelq up maybe an inch. Once in this position I take the heal of the other hand and squash the blood from by head downward against the hand clamping. I am still applying upward pressure with the clamped hand as the heal of the upper hand continues to push the blood around. Very similar to an Isolated Compression Squeeze the difference being the upper hand is open and the heal of the hand is used to push against the resisting hand. As I said above I will do one rep for about 2-3 minutes at which time I release do a few Dual Dry Jelqs and begin the next set.

My goal, as stated above is MAXIMUM EXPANSION. I gage this by looking at my wrists while training and I make a visual comparison of the GIRTH of my penis to the GIRTH of my wrist. I want to get myself thicker than my wrist and I do this every session. Just for fun when I surpass my wrist GIRTH I start looking at my ankles (yeah right!) but it is fun to try.

I will continue with this routine until my Pills arrive. Once they do I will completely eliminate my entire routine (that sounds scary) and star this test.
