View Full Version : Question for the people who take time off

My PE schedule has been very poor over the past 5 days. Besides a non related PE injury I suffered last year I have never taken time off. Today I am going to get back into my routine at 100%. I still feel down and I just finished doing a Blaster session. It really did not feel like I accomplished something:( Does anyone feel like they are just going through the motions sometimes? How long does this type of rut last and what gets you out of it?
The knowledge that I'm just wasting my time and not making my dick any bigger usually snaps me right out of it.
Of course if my dick was as big as yours, I'd have been done a long long time ago... :)

You already know that i've taken a break of 3 weeks approximatively one month ago, i still feel like you feel now. Even for the gains wich was near 0 since i come back to the game. I don't know if i was hitting my first plateau when i stop , so i really feel like i didn't accomplished anything....since one month. I don't think that in your case it will be a problem due to the short amount of time you have take off. I think that the only thing that will take me out of this, is the day i will see a gain when i use my ruler.

Gains get me out of it. :)
Believe me I've been there before, doing an hour of stretches when half the time I don't even realise I have my dick in my hand. But then you see your dick looking bigger one day, or better yet measure gains and the inspiration comes flooding back man!
Or if you don't want to PE until you are in the right attitude again why not just do maintainance until you're feeling good again? I think 12x7 can hold out until then. :)

hey DLD .... i think ....when you miss a couple of sessions it gets harder and harder to get back into it ...it get s easier to say ..oh i'll do it later... but i know you will get back into it ....because i know how dedicated you are to PE...... i went thru a rut not to long ago where i just let my routine go and just couldn't get back into it ...but i made my self do my routine and it didnt take but a couple of days and it all fell back into place for me ......and now i'm glad i pushed myself back into my routine ......

I agree with AfterTheShock,
The longer you wait, the tougher it will be and then you'll regret waiting. Just the way the cookie crumbles. :D

I was very busy and could barely PE for the last couple or weeks. I would have a little time, but chose to do other things instead. I also felt down about it, but then i found away to get out of it....
You have to find your motivation again. Why is it that you are doing NPE? is it for personal reasons (true in every case), a gf, or whatever else. You have to think about that as you start it back up, and while you are actually doing your exercises. I lost my focus of why i was doing it, and once i found it again, ive been doing my exercises longer and more intense than ever before. Just remind yourself over and over and you will feel the adrenaline start flowing again, and the excitement of NPE.

Very good point guys. I am finding myself slipping into justifications for missed workouts. I need to get through all this bull-shit that never seems to die or never should have happened and get back into the nitch of things.
For the silver lining, your ability to miss sessions is a big big step from the DLD I orignially met on-line many months ago...
Congratulations... :)
