Do you think the use of speed (which in Europe still refers to good old amphetamine, so no methamphetamine) causes cells in your penis to die because of a lack of oxigen? In which case I must have lost quite a few inches by now... ;)

Whizz-dick: side effect, urban myth or amfetamine-related koro-like syndrome?

A case is presented of a patient who described a koro-like syndrome related to amfetamine use; this consisted of a perception that his penis had reduced in size and was at risk of being sucked into his body. He described this as Whizz-Dick. This condition was also reported independently by amfetamine users attending a drug-addiction clinic. They described Whizz-Dick as a temporary penile shrinkage secondary to amfetamine use. Descriptions of penile shrinkage related to amfetamine in literature and from Internet sources are described. The relationship between Whizz-Dick and koro and its possible links with other psychosexual problems previously reported to be associated with amfetamine use are discussed.

Although I don't exactly now what korosyndrome means (is it a lasting condition?) I believe the text just states that due to the use of amfetamine, the penis will shrink, temporarily. All users will have noted that. When used in high enough doses, the shrinkage can be very drastic, with a very pale colour at the tip of the penis as another sign of serious depriviation of the bloodflow towards the penis. Although the effect will scare a lot of users, my personal experience is, it does not cause any visible shrinkage that is permanent. On the other hand I must say I'm not the kind that measures to the millimeter, so I can't say with certainty there's no effect. Especially because it is of course easily expected from a theoretical point of view.

I don't see any issues that wouldn't also apply to ephedrine, caffiene etc. It might be worth exploring CNS issues, but still can't think of any reason why it would be more than temporary.

Btw, I have a recipe for a whizz like mix that is made from a mix of regular supplements. I've got all the supps here, but never got around to trying them.
