View Full Version : Electro Stimulation of the Pelvic Muscles

Another question for any one here: Has anyone here tried any form of electrostim of the pelvic muscles to increase their tone and strength?
This can be done with a TENS or EMS unit and properly placed etrode pads. You can even wear this under your clothes and walk around doing this, like you can do Kegels without anyone knowing. It seems like it would be a good new/high tech way of working out the PC and PB muscles to reach optimum condition and strength to support PE practices and sex. I think I am going to try it for both purposes and see what happens.
Anybody got any experience, or advice, or stories of success or failure to share on this topic?

I've seen some products for that. Seemed pretty interesting. But simple flexing seems to do the trick for me - and is a hell of a lot less expensive.
Would it not hurt? I mean, the normal muscle ones are bad enough.... BUT THE PC MUSCLE?!
Hehehehe. Imagine pulling/straining that :D

I agree with Alloy. I think its better to do manual kegals to train you how to use your PC as a voluntary action and also how to realese it and do a recverse kegal.
But there again I dont just tense the PC musle when I kegal. I also very slightly tense some of the lower abdominals, which I only really notice when I kegal and breath in deeply! So maybe it could teach you to just tense the PC...But there again I dont think it matters that much lol!

I too think manual are better and do the trick. Also i think theres a less chance of injury and malfunction. But hey do what feels best for you.
Anyway, what is a PB muscle? I probably know what it is just not the knickname.
I've thought of this once or twice, i have a have a machine that does this, up to 6 or 8 electrodes at a time, control intensity, and length of pulses, and speed of pulses. I had planned to use it as a tool during weight lifting, but never got off my fat ass!
can I use this? And where do i place the electrodes?
BTW what's a TENS and EMS?

If you are really interested here are a few links to TENS and electrostimming in general: www.eroticelectrostimmag.com and http://gocs1.com/Psionics/TENS-schematic.zip
I found the second link on the prior web site. They have links to other sites which deal in electrostimming as well.

I think it hurts like hell. Steve-O tried it in the Jackass movie. Did not seem pleasant at all. And that was Steve-O.
So, is there a real way to increse you size?

these devices are actually used o treat incontinence, for which they use a special vaginal or anal probe. if there is a way of working the pc muscles with it, using yous the standard electrodes, that would be pretty sweet. i've got one of those devices and i always use it on my abs when i'm just lying down reading.

Hey everyone. After of getting tired of trying to do my kegel exercises while doing other activities (like homework) I decided to start looking for something to do it for me. I stumbled upon this post, so I headed to Google to see what I could find. I own a StimRx RX2000 (http://stimrx.com/rx2000.html) so I wanted to find something that was compatible with it. What I found is the Anuform Probe (http://www.neenpelvichealth.com/products/anuform-r/). This is exactly what it looks like; an anal probe. This product can't be very big, since it would run into the risk of hitting the prostate and causing forced ejaculation.
The only real problem (for those in the US) is that it is only sold in the UK. I managed to find it on this site (http://www.westonshealth.co.uk) for around $30, shipping included. While these devices are listed as treatments for incontinence, some of the sites I found also listed "strengthening pelvic floor muscles". I think it's only sold in the UK because it's considered a medical device, and the FDA probably side tabled it.
I will place an order for one of these and provide an update after I've given it a test run for about a week. Maybe even a video review. Imagine doing 10 kegels in just 10 seconds (one of the program settings on my EMS machine). While doing manual ones are probably better for training your brain, the Anuform probe can help get those muscles strong fairly quickly.
