Ok and the verdict is.....I love this thing...I used it for the first time today. I went through all the stretches, and I really like most of them, the one I had trouble with was the down and out, me and my huge hamstrings....it's really easy to use, and it makes it so much easier on your hands/grip. I got so much tension from each variation....I love this device, and I can say that it gets my endorsement as a must have for any manual stretcher. I am looking forward to using this thing when I get up at five in the morning, as I really feel like this will be the final bit of the puzzle for me....if you've been trying to decide if you wanted to buy one like I did, go for it, be patient and get the hang of it...it's well worth the price tag....and it actually arrived on time too....I suggest anyone who has one should post their thoughts in this thread...I give it 2 thumbs up....

I love my Power Assist, the new model is incredible. Nothings adds more intensity to manual exercise like the PA.
Btw, all of the current exercises are illustrated HERE (http://www.mattersofsize.com/Power_Assist.html). They are also available in this forum just search for Power Assist. The video's will be up sometime next week.
It gets my lowest rating ever! 7 thumbs up. rofl

Not to mention a general hanging how to by yours truly ;)
I love my PA!!! I bought mine when DLD first made 'em awhile back. Ever since, I have been amazed at it's usefullness in manual stretching. My ligs are sore at this very moment from it. DLD FOR PRESIDENT 2008!!! Yo DLD!! What new changes were made to the recent PA compared to the old one?

The cosmetic look has been greatly improved with laser cutting, and a highly smooth finish. We also decided to stain this model with a cherry finish and a semi luster seal. Of course designer rope:D People may get on of many different rope designs, I had allot of fun shopping for them:)
Design wise the new Power Assist is 3" longer overall. The thickness was increased by .25" with the arm width being reduced by .25" making it more comfortable in the hand with greater strength.
I am glad you love yours, I love mine too.
:rocker: PA's ROCK!!

I've enjoyed my sessions with this so far....I finally figured the down and out...ummm out...I really liked the lig burn I was getting with the extra tension...I did some beginner stretches and I really felt the ligs pulling out...I am going to stick with that plan...I am experienceing much better grip, and my hands are getting tired...so I'm having longer sessions, and really working it hard with the PA...I am glad that I was able to afford one....

I wanted to mention that after my session today I measured my FSL and my BPFSL and I was .25 longer than usual...I can officially say that this device will help me to progress with manual stretches again, and I am loving every minute of it...thanks for bringing this device into existence DLD...and I can't wait to see the vids and the routines you come up with for it...I know I am feeling the down and out as my primary stretch with some bow and arrow and some a-stretches for variety...

That is awesome. I hope some other guys grab one of these before they are gone again. For someone who is doing manual stretching there is nothing that compliments a session like the Power Assist.

DLD, you told ME that was your mirror without the glass...your special mirror where you look through it at people who look better than you and say "man, I look good today" ;)

Just kidding, I don't even have this thing but I'd get it if it were $20 less. Poor guys have to wait for a new model for the prices to decrease huh

I wish I could come down on the price but each Power Assist run ends up being a break even situation. In order to make a profit on the PA I would need to charge even more.

I have not talked with JAZ today but I know he was busy working on them yesterday. I am hoping to get some stuff up before the weekend. Another piece of good news is I wrote an alternative workout for PHASE 5 stretching using the Power Assist.
