Well...I used to measure from the side and push it in too far. Everyone cried foul. So I started measuring from the top center. That cut me back some on length, but that's okay. I'm happy where I am now, and I'm taking my time. Wife says I'm her biggest now so what's the rush? My stats from the top are: BPEL 7.75" pushing in hard and 7.5" BP not pushing in so hard. I have a little bit of fat pad so my non-bp isn't so great in comparison. A little over 6.5 standing up, 7ish if I suck it in! I recently measured my old side measuring way and busted the 8" mark. I could actually BP close to 8.5" from the side but it's kind of cheatie! :D Sorry, I can't quote any sources on that. You'll just have to believe me! :D
