The Mental Stages You Go Through With PE

I have learned alot from PE and these are some emotional stages Ive gone through. Im reposting this in the mental gains because I think it can help. I originally posted it as my 500th post.

Since May I have gained between .5-.75 inches in girth and .25 inches in length. The length will come oh yes the length will come.

I have learned alot since May, one of the things I have learned is that there are emotional stages that come with PE.

1. Faith- You have to believe that it will work as you have read countless others that say it does. This is the stage before you start PE. You doubt and wonder why you are even considering it. But then you do it hoping...

2. Hope- After starting PE you start to kind of believe it will work and hope that it stays. Plus you are still hoping that you didnt waste your time and got mislead into believing this is another penis pill hoax.

3. Stage 1 fear- At this stage you havent noticed your 1st gain and you begin to fear that you are doing the basics wrong because you havent noticed your 1st gain yet. This is where the newbie questions come out.

4. Acceptance with doubt- This is the stage when you get your 1st gain. You are of course as excited as a mofo, BUT you secretly doubt it might not stay. You then proceed with caution.

5. Excitement- You got your 1st gain and you "know" it will work(still secretly doubting it). At this stage you think you know ALOT more than you really do.

6. Stage 2 Fear- After you get your 1st gain you FEAR you will lose it if you dont do the required unknown amount of dick pulling. At this stage you usually end up going overboard and trying to get too much too fast as you realize that it works. This is the stage I think is most prone to injuries, which of course leads to the next stage.

6. Stage 3 Fear- Youve hurt yourself in some way and you think youre permanently screwed. Turned your dick purple, shot blood out of your pee hole, got fluid build up, caused rope burn of some sort under the head of your cock from pulling, the list goes on. After youve calmed down you realize that you will heal and things will go back to almost normal. Still have a purple pecker though. This is also the stage you realize you dont know as much as you thought you did.

7. Knowing- You now KNOW that PE works, there is no doubt in your head. You have gained and the gains keep coming and dont disappear after a layoff.

8. Denial- This is a fucked up stage. You look at your bigger cock that youve had for awhile and think "My cock isnt any bigger than when I started" the ONLY thing that can disprove this to you is the ruler/tape. You are in total denial that is has grown and may even deny that the ruler/tape is correct. "There is no way Im that size, its looks smaller than that.

9. Ive hit my limit stage- This is the stage you secretly think you cant get any bigger because of your plateau. Not an easy stage to break. Perserverance is key here.

10. Knowing- The mecca of all stages. This is the stage at which you have to aspire to. After your short stint of denial and Ive hit my limit stage you head back to "knowing" again. This is the stage you spend most of your time at if you continue to PE. If you dont know it will work you end up quiting.

There are a couple more that interject at almost any stage, those stages are called LAZY and BUSY. These stages can screw up alot of workouts.

These are most of the stages Ive noticed through my own PE world. The rides been fun and Im glad Im on it.

You are right on that additional stage, the no rush stage. After awhile you succumb to the fact it takes time and will happen. Before you reach that point there is that rush factor.

You like the penimaster then I take it. It seems as it would be more comfortable than the loop style extender devices. Any thoughts on that?

I really like the penimaster so far. I can't really comment on the loop style since I have never worn them. These devices seem like a sure way to slowly gain length. Only time will tell.

that looks really well done, jack b.I'm only somewhere about 3-4 though, i see a little gain (about .1 in girth) and every time i measure I'm afraid it will be gone, but it hasn't yet :D

Cool post, I agree with you on those stages, as I've been through them myself..

I would append an 11th stage that I'm at, where I've already acheived 'normal' gains, and any more progress would be considered exceptional. It's hard getting over the mind block that your gains will slow and that there's a limit on what you can gain, but I believe it's also that mind block that creates those limitations.

I have only been doing PE for 3 months now but am already at stage 8. I gained .5 inches in my first month, went through the "i think my gains won't be permanet (injury phase)". Now when i measure standing up, or am not in my origional position as when i first measured i freak out. Definately a wierd denial phase coupled with LAZY/Busy phase. I need to Fucking snap out of this phase. The worst part about it is i still have easy gains left and am still being lazy. What happens when i gain another .5?

Ha, amazing how human minds think alike. I'm around 8-9 the past month. I got some good girth gains I was looking for. Went from 4.5-5.0 with contrictors. Then took a short break came back, and started cranking out intense girthwork everyday, and got no gains for 2-3 weeks. Changed things up still nothing, now changed things up again seeing how thats going. Before though i was like at this rate im gonna be 5.5 by april or may. Then when the gains wernt coming i was like. Does this even work? The tape says im bigger but maybe im just subconicously lying to myself. I dont think my dick looks any bigger than it did. Funny how everyone has these stages. Kinda helps me out though I feel more confident about breakking through it. Thanks man.

Im lingering back at around stage 5. I like gains, but still slightly doubt them.

I never doubt my gains. I hardly ever measure. I measure maybe once every 3-4 months. Just don't want to. I consistently and regularly with the highest level of dedication do girth and stretch and my dick is getting fuckin' huge. I'm looking forward to my year anniversay (8/24/05). I'll take some measurements then. I am absolutely stoked about the benefits of PE and I figure if DLD can go from the 6.75" mark to over 10" with a 7" girth, then fucken so can I. You just have to commit and put in the time and BELIEVE!!!!!

An excellent post jakb, and one that has converted me from lurker to poster!

I am probably floating in the regions of between 4 and 6 at the moment, and you are absolutely spot on with what you say.

However, its posts like this, and the general positive and focused vibe I feel from the site and its members that I have managed to work a daily routine for 2 weeks now... and have managed to reschedule my life to incorporate it...

which is where I worry for the "busy" pushing its way in...

but thats not gonna happen ;)

I'm in stage three now! after getting my first injury that sort of freaked me out. Seeing even just a few drops of blood is never a good sign or feeling. "take it easy" is going to be a major mantra of mine. And I may take a few days or weeks of break from it all.
