Blakoe Ring vs. Supra's ROP

I have low testosterone and am NOT looking forward to correcting it with AndroGel or the patch.

I just found out about Supra's ROP and am extremely excited about the possibilities. However, I'd prefer to just order the actual Blakoe Ring from www.blakoe.com and be done with it. My question though, is Supra's ring significantly better?

If I can get any sort of significant benefit in T levels, that's all I need. I don't care if the ROP is more "powerful" than the Blakoe as long as the Blakoe is still decent. I may upgrade to Supra's ring in the future, but if the Blakoe will work well enough in raising my T levels, that's all I care about.

Any thoughts?

The Blackoe is a commercial product and very expensive. Besides, the ROP gives better voltage.

I can make you one if you like, I still have some extra materials from mine. PM me if interested.

I appreciate the offer, and may take you up on it at some point, but I like the Blakoe ring partially because I can easily order another one if I were to lose the first, for example. If I were to rely on members from this board, however, I'd either have to track someone down, hope they have some free time, or spend the time doing it myself.

I know it's a bit pricey but the money doesn't really affect me. All I really care about is whether the effectiveness is reasonably similar to the ROP.

Is the difference in voltage enough to make a significant difference?

Nevermind, it looks like I totally misread the instructions for building the ring. These look way easier to make than I thought. I'm just going to make my own.

I would implore you to post your results after a couple of months. We def do not have enough information on this forum regarding the ROP and it pisses me off. Its been worn by at least 100 or so people over the past year and we only have 2-3 people claiming it made their testosterone levels sore and about the same number that claim it made them decrease.

If you really want to get scientific and see wether the ring is working for you or not than you need to go to www.ast-ss.com and get a testosterone test kit. No needles involved!! They get your results from a saliva sample taht you mail in to them. they send you back the results and even create a database for you so, when you mail another sample later on, you can compare the two. Just a suggestion, that way you can make sure that you are not just shocking your balls for nothing. Maybe we can end this ROP business that way.

I just did order one from Supra,sent a money order friday,I talked to him about them back some time ago,and then he was overseas for a while and I never got a chance to order.Supra has those zinc rods made up and they are much more pure than you will find building it yourself,I am the ulltimate do-it yourselfer and I ordered one from Supra .For the $75.00 or whatever it costs I believe it would be money well spent and you know it will work well IMHO

The reason they didn't listen to your great idea (and it is a logical and fundamental idea), is because that is the last thing "they" would want. The truth is the device does nothing, has absolutely not backing, even the Blakoe web site, can only sight a very mundane "study" they did. So they will carry on with the bro-telligence ("it feels like its working") and the needless lies and waste of time will continue, if you want to pay for a worhtless product that's your right, but don't complain about no one telling you it's completely bogus. :)

"He" probably told you such, so you would buy the Ring from him, as simple as that. The fact is the website for buying the same exact Zinc that Supra uses is widely known, anyone can get it and assemble a ROP for under $10 dollars with little effort. If you ever have a few hours where you want to build something completely useless it's quite fun and cheap. The 99% pure Zinc is easily accessible anywhere, and so is the copper and the latex or non-latex (for those with allergies), it doesn't take a miracle to build, and it's no miracle product.

I also heard "someone" saying that the ROP also clears up your skin and makes it more smooth? Now how is this even posisble? The fact is increased testosterone levels make you more prone to acne, and make your skin more rough and masculine which can also lead way to acne, hence many female pro-bodybuilders. Hell, the claim of Zinc absorbing into your body was even made, do you know how funny that is? Zinc cannot be carried exogenously through ions (electricity) passing through. Minimal electricity on your nuts does one thing. Nothing.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out many of the benefits cited are completely contradictive. Any forum would demand proof for any claims. Funny how this ROP topic is back now. ;) Hmmm, what could possibly be going on.

If anyone would like to disagree with me, disagree with my stance offer up some proof, and I would be happy to debate, if you yourself don't understand the fundamentals of the bullshit of this product, then think twice.

Whether it works or not, for some people, most, none, good, bad, etc etc is still a ongoing discussion and I don't want to promote the ROP or anything until I'm out of materials and done with this. The only totally objective FACT though is that this thing gets electricity (very low voltage) running through your package.

You can get the pure zinc from there, then go to any Lowes/Home Depot/hardware store and get the food grade copper and latex tubing. I spent about 20 bucks and had enough for 3 of them and plenty of tubing left over.

Copper solid rod (12") from McMaster.com part# 8965K14 for $7.72 (Material Alloy 101 Oxygen-Free Copper Diameter 3/8")

Zinc solid rod (6") from McMaster.com part# 3606K1 for $6.54 each or 3" long, item# 3606K6 - $5.29

From McMaster.com Tubing 5234K44 comes in amber or black (3/8' OD 1/4" ID) $0.67/feet

This is all from mcmaster, www.mcmaster.com . This is the best quality (in terms of purity), you can find on the zinc and copper. The latex tubbing can be found in many stores. My ROP is made from these.


Now everyone can make their own ROPs if they want.

For example:

So, you have the $15.00 dollars for materials. (If you order just 1 feet of tubbing).

International shipping: Well, mcmaster charged me $37.00 for delivery to Chile. I had also orderes a cable cuff wire mesh and 3 shaft collars (to use as ball weights). Point is they don´t use cheap mailing options. You also have the internation costs (customs fee and such) that you pay for internationall packages. That is around 20% of the total, in Chile).

Now, even if you are from the USA. $ 15.00 for materials, tax (?? I don´t know), shipping charges from them (I guess $8-10) plus the time (whatever your time is worth) to make it as asked.

So, guys from the USA can make their own ROP,if interested, at $25.00 to $35.00, depending on your time´s worth. Guys from other countries can make them at $40.00 - $50.00 I guess. The extra materials you can keep. You can also give them away if you like, as one member offered)


Now, what I think about the ROP, in short version.

The ROP was introduced as the PE miracle of all times. To not get into details, the ROP would make you be double or triple the man you are now.

Then, when all the Hype was fading, after countless "Oh yeah I love this thing" posts, the ROP was disregarded (sorry for my english, don´t know if thats the word) as a useless and "PE pill like" device. There were many tones and variations to this.

I decided to try the ROP after reading every single thread I found. I believe the main oppinions were so strikingly different that I couldn´t make a proper decision based on them. Basically, you had the "This is amazing" and the "This is Bullshit" posts. To the end of the "debate" a "The ROP doesn´t work" concensus was reached here at MOS.

The ROP is a device that produces a small current that runs through your package, due to a very low voltage. If you want all the scientific facts then that´s the phrase you should hear. There have been no even slightly serious studies about it. The feedback from users is not trustable from a stranger and objective point of view.

Most people that wore the ROP, wore it 24/7 or similar. The ROP is simple and small, easy to wear, and benefits were related in the form of "Wow I never take it off now" or such. After a little time, in the scale of weeks, some people starting posting they weren´t feeling anything or anything anymore. shortly after the main ROP promoter leaved, the ROP was regarded as BS by some, and nobody argued anymore.

all this happened happened while I wasn´t here by the way, All I know is from my reading.


Now, my view.

I wear the ROP mainly before and after sex for a few hours, sometimes through the night, and sometimes when I just want to put it on. I know it is doing something (whatever it is) becouse I can feel it. I have felt a few times that this thing was kind off frying my balls, when I was very sweaty. I choose conciously to wear it for the effects I do think it produces, so If
there a psychosomatic effect, this is where I fall in. I believe I´ve had better erections and better hang at times when I always carried my ROP with me and wore it when I wanted to. Related to this, I believe (from my intuition or common sense, be it right or wrong) that the body could adapt to external stimulations by chemical, ionical or whetever reaction to this and reach normal equilibrium. This means there is the possibility that people actually had effects at first and then they dimished.

I don´t care If this sounds strange to some. With the "miracle" vs "bullshit" points of view, I don´t think this was done right. I would like to see if different guys react differently to different wearing times, voltages, regimes or setups. After that, I would trust a logical conclusion.

If you guys want a real kick ass ROP replace the copper with Silver. Not only does it not itch like the copper rod, you only have to clean it once a month, it doesn't degrade the tubing like copper does. Besides, it generates more voltage.

Go to your local neighborhood jeweler and have them make you a 1 1/2" silver rod. Solid or hollow... .

Hey pupper, You could have saved yourself $65 if you had made one the ROP yourself, Supra laughs all the way to bank when he charges $75 for the ROP. When Supra first made them he charged $50 for the ROP. So you are paying $25 more than he used to charge. So I'm afraid to say YOU got SCREWED Mate.
