Well how do you get over "the love of your Life"

some of you have read my other posts but ill give a quick rundown. I met a girl and fell in love with her and she supposedly felt the same for me. Ive been a virgin all my life even though ive had some oppurtnities but i wanted to hold out for the one i loved. Well all was great till she went to college and found it too hard since i was back home and she was 1.5 hours away. Plus not to mention she cheated on me. Well afte the breakup i would get calls from her saying she missed me, loved me, and hated that we were apart. Pretty much she lead me on. Well recently i found out all she was doing was playing me. Granted this information has helped me to cope but it stillhurts. Theres a few girls and one in particular that i could have a relationship with. The one i like the most is a very genuine quiet, and wholesome gir (not to mention built very well and hot)l i should say so im afraid of hurting her like i was hurt. I also still think of my ex constantly which is probably partly because i lost my virginity to her but also because i truly did love her. This has also led me to decide not on having sex until marriage, well atleast intercourse for sure Its just hard to forget and move on. What advice do you all have? I personally would love to have my ex back but i dont see that as a possibility atleast not until summer when she is home and that she notices me out like she used to. Also im transferring colleges because im tired of living at home, i hate my current college, all my friends go to this particular college, and the one im transferring to also happens to be the first college i thought about. Thing is this is also the college she attends. Anyway how can i get over her. what seems to be the best thing to do? It sucks cause i still get so down and depressed at times <:( . man I hear you on that. But you gotta realize your gonna meet another love of your life if you know what I mean. I've been going through the same thing but you gotta realize girls are a dime a dozen *don't mean that in any derogatory way* but there are tons of women for you. You'll meet another women some day or tomorrow or maybe your even meeting her right now while i'm typing that you'll realize is what you've been looking for all your life instead of this other women who obviously didn't feel the same way. When you find a women who likes you back and feel the same way go for it and have fun with life.

Why would you want back someone who cheats on you and dumps you. I am not sure where the idea came that since it is a first love you cannot move on. If something is mean to me I dont seek them out to become friends, i am not sure why it is hard to move on. It would seem starting out fresh would be a nice thing instead of getting back together with someone you know has cheated on you.

well the cheating was a kiss and it was the day before she broke up with me so she already knew she was going to and i knew it was coming. She was still pretty upset. Yeah doesnt make sense i know but i was just so close to her. It sucks i miss her even though i know im better off without her. Still so hard to just forget and move on

Funny you say that because lets just say 2 of her friend have become very "close" to me lol. To be honest though ive just ignored her ass as of the last 1.5 month which has lead to her calling me again now and coming up with clever ways to see me. Thing is ive outsmarted her and gottena round these ways for her to see me and just plain ignored her. Weird too because she has a new BF and is calling me. Unless she is just trying to fcuk with my head again. Oh well ill just continue to ignore

Took me 9 months to get over my first girlfriend. I thougth I would never get through it, but I did. Just takes time dude. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

I have no feelings whatsoever for her now and look back and wonder why I dated her in the first place!

Besides, there's a new girl in my life and she's killer sexy. Very cool and nice also.rofl
