Measuring length when you penis curves up

My dick curves upward like a banana when erect. How can I measure it accurately with a ruler when I can't press down on it to get the length? I can tell that it's around 5 inches NBP, but I can't get a precise measurement, because I think the noticeable curve makes my dick appear shorter than it is. If I were able to straighten it out, I think I would be .5 inches longer. It's pretty irritating. >:(

Mine curves a little to the left in banana fashion, lol. All I do is push on the curve to straighten it out, then take the measurement. It doesn't add *too* much, about 1/8" or so. But all bends are different.

Mine curves up as well as to the left a little. I can't measure when I have a 100% erection cause I can't push the bastard down! The left curve isn't so much that I would try to straighten it, unless it starts to bother me somehow.

Mine curves up, too. I lay it on the sink counter in the bathroom and press it flat and measure.

I could correct this over time by doing DLD erect bends downwards. I corrected my curve to the left by doing DLD erect bends to the right for about 3 months, but I kind of like my upward curve, so i am going to leave it as is for now.

It does add 1/8th of an inch when straight.

Different people have different types of dicks. Some guys' dicks are rather 'meaty' and thick, but are floppy like wet noodles, even when erect. Some guys have dicks that are titanium-hard when erect (that's me). So when I'm 100% erect I can't really bend my penis down to measure it - otherwise it hurts. So I bend it down at about 90% erection strength. Uuugh. :s

Try using a string. Make a mark on the string with a permanant magic marker about one inch in from the end. Use your index finger and align the mark up with your fingernail. Hold the string between your index and and thumb. The reason for the 1" back mark is so that the end of the string is held by the thumb at the first joint on the index finger thus allowing the finger tip to be pressed to the pelvic bone. Press the tip of the index finger into the pad area at the base of your penis and hold it there. Use the other hand to guide the string along the penis until the beginning of your curve then hold the string in place and use your other hand that you used to start at the base to guide it along the curve of the penis. use this hold and release as many times as necessary to follow the contour. Be sure to as keep the string direct on the penis will as this will give the most accurate measurement. Once you reach the base of the head, hold the string there and extend the string out holding it between the opposing finger and thumb and watch until you are in direct alignment with the tip of the string. Hold the string at that point and then use the ruler. This is about as exact as you can get. You can also use the string for girth measurement as well. Hope this helps.

j-penis, I guess it would depend on your degree of curve. Mine is about 5%, so it's not much. But it does hurt to try to straighten.

it doesn't really matter how you measure it, just as long as your measuring technique is consistent.

if anyone asks me how big i am, i tell them the length measured from the side. if they want proof i'll show em. they wont know the difference between bp and nbp.
