Are the two products compatable? I was thinking about starting off with Keplan and then if I ever need to move up I could go to vacu-tech cylinder.

I may just start off with vacu-tech. They have a flared and a thick wall. They claim the thick wall help more with length. I cannot see how that can be.
What is the advantage of the flare?

I want to buy ASAP, so any help! Thanks!

There thick walled cylinders are superior. They help because of the weight of the cylinder can pull on your cock while you pump. They are also are more comfortable than the flaired cylinders the thick flat bottom up against your pubic bone is much more comfortable. The flairs have the tendency to let the skin slip over the edge of the flair and be tender. I use both and like the way the thick wall feels better. The Kaplin cylinder though not thick walled is tapered (narrower at the tip than at the base) this helps keep the donut shape from becoming over done. Just remember to keep you pump pressure low at first to avoid blisters and bruising. The longer you pump the higher pressures you can use. Get a pump with a gage. I start off at 5 hg and let the base of my cock expand so that it won't pull my ball sack in the tube. Then I go up to 7 hg and after I've packed the tube I will go up to 9 or 10 hg, but I have been pumping for about 16 + years. I also usually start with my Kaplin tapered cylinder so that I pack the tube faster and then switch to my thick walled 2" tube. I have two tapered tubes from Kaplin, a 1 3/4" X 9" tube and a 2" X 9" tube. I also have two thick walled tubes from vacutech, a 2" X 9" and a 2 1/4" X 9" tube. I don't use the small Kaplin tube any more as I don't fit in it any more.

Good Luck

And even better than the flare is to use a set of tubes that gradually gain in diameter. When you fill a tube completely, then you move up to the next size up. I use 5 tubes usually. This will help keep the "donut" effect from becoming exaggerated. I personally build my own tubes. It's cheaper, and you can make 'em whatever size you want. A good place to buy the acrylic tubing is on eBay. I've been buying from "simplya2005" for years now with no trouble.
