Why bother pumping if the results are not permanent? From alot of what i have read on this section this seems to be the case.

Thats why alot of people don't bother pumping, you do hear about some people making gains, but after many years. Manual girth will get you their quicker.

That is true. However pumping can help with manual jelqing. If a person takes the time to do their jelqing exercises properly and then supplements with the pump, I've found it helps to solidify my girth gains. Pumping with jelqing mixed in between short 5-10 minute sets will help increase the effectiveness of a girth routine.
The important thing to remember when doing girth exercises is to keep blood in the penis as long as possible to stretch the spongey CC tissue. I use cock cushions from CTC company for all day and all night penis engorgement. My flaccid hang increase has been incredible with these. They also help keep fluid build-up to a minimum. This is the key to solid girth gains. I would recommend these cushions to anyone concerned with cementing their girth gains.

I have a slight different opinion on the all day cockring thing. I think, for instance,... like during the girth workout the blood and cells expand and get ingorged, but when your done with the girth workout, and physically done pushing those cells out, that is wear the gains will come from, and not just holding the blood their, via cockring. I don't however think it would hurt.

Where you are right that pumping gains are not permenant, I have found that using pumping on top of my regular PE workout does help me gain. I usually pump 2 or 3 times during the course of a week. My ligs and tunica are the most exhausted when I have completed my regular PE workout and 2 or 3 sessions of pumping.
I usually will pump when I will be sitting at my computer and need my hands free. I will pump to a good pressure, then I am free to work/play on my computer while I am still getting some additional PE in. I think it is one more method by which I am building a bigger me.
