i was with my ex for almost 3 years shes 23 im 31 and she broke up with me almost a year ago. i havnt talked to her in about 6 months but she keeps sending random txts like

"hey hows ur dad doing"
"hey just want you to know i didnt forget what today is" anniversary
"hey i still wear this" shows me a pic of her wearing the tiffany bracelet i bought her for anniversary
"maybe down the road we can reconnect"

so when i say hey why do u still try to contact me u never did that with any of your old boyfriends her response was

"i never intended on not getting back together"

so anyway a few months have gone by since ive replied to her or anything i think 4-6 months and my cousin says she txt him last week and says hey me and my friends are out in your area lets party. he dosnt reply plus he works early on the weekdays and he knows its just gonna be a Q&A about me.

so this week i get a txt from her and its been over 2 months since she has txt me since i have not replied and says" hey whats the name of the movie with the song the blowers daughter?"

well i didnt reply but was like wtf thats some bullshit sad breakup song ur always on my mind type bullshit and she knows the movie we would watch it together.

so my question is wtf is her deal? ya i get she probably just wants to know how im doing but wtf u dont break up with someone and still a year has past and u keep trying to communicate with them wtf for? is she trying to feel things out i dont get it?

The woman is feeling guilty and wants your communcation to relieve her feelings of guilt. The second thing that woman do is they keep a secondary relationship on tap when they sow their wild oats. Sounds like she wants some dick. OR, she's just messin with you because she has nothing better to do. If you have the guts...in other words you can do it without getting all emotional (nothing personal there), I say send her a text back something along the lines of "lets fuck", and see where that leads. If nothing comes of it, so be it. I say ignore her, unless you feel there's some sex to be had. Obviously there's nothing left for a relationship.
