PE and Enlarged Prostate

Hey Guys, I have a very important question..
I have a friend who's interested in trying PE, however he's 60 years old and has an enlarged prostate gland. He had a complete medical checkout, and the doctors said that there's no particular medical condition that's causing it, just that it's sometimes what happens as you get older.

Anyway, my friend is worried because he wants to know what kind of affect would PE and PC exercises have on his condition.. if it will worsen, if it will improve, if it just wont be affected at all... he asked me, but I honestly didn't know how to answer that question, so I would appreciate anyone here having any information on that...

I don't think that it will have any affect on his prostate. The following is my experience.

I have had radiation for prostate cancer. The test for whether this has been successful is a blood test for PSA, which stands for prostate specific antigen. This is a material that the prostate outputs into the blood whenever it is upset - or has cancer! PSA numbers will even change if one has sex a short time before the test - the prostate, of course, is quite involved with ejaculation.

So I was quite concerned about PE affecting my PSA blood tests (subsequent to the radiation) to the degree that it would appear that the cancer had not been removed by radiation. In other words, would pulling on my dick - which is connected to the prostate via the urethra - upset my prostate enough to get higher PSA numbers. This would have upset the hell out of me!

My procedure has been to stop all PE and sex for 2 1/2 days before blood was taken. The blood test are taken every three months for the first year. I have had astonishingly low PSA numbers, most recently 0.39 (0-4 is normal) which tells me that the prostate doesn't get annoyed with my PE work. My PE this year has consisted of hanging up to 17 lbs. I am 63 years old.

Now all this relates to how my body is built, and there are lots of detail differences from one person to another.
