I always hear people say be careful when doing girth work, but I havent found any info on why.. I mean, what are the possible injuries you can get? Can you feel them coming on before they occur? Any way to prevent these injuries?
Everytime i see someone giving caution about an exercise im paranoid while doing it...

quijjiboo, there are several injuries possible even with length exercises. Most post warnings are to let the possible user to use common sense when doing them. You will as you gain experience and build up tolerance to the exercises push it harder. You need to learn your own body's limitations are and the pain threshold. The most common injury is thrombosis of a vein. Most all injuries occur when you have pushed it too far. The best thing to do is work into an exercise, then over time increase the instensity you do it with. The second thing to note is that most injuries occur with newbies. Going too far too fast, not taking the time to get used to the exercises first. Take your time, you have a lifetime to make improvements. Hope this helps you a little.
