Personally, I thought that Dr. Wayne Dyer's book "The Power of Intention" was a lot better as far as helping someone incorporate the concepts into their everyday lives.
The organization based on Edgar Cayce's body of readings, The Association for Reasearch and Enlightenment, (ARE), has got a HUGE volume of work on the entire concept that "Thoughts are things" as real and tangible as your own shoes.
"Spirit is the source, mind is the builder, physical the result."
One of the most practical, and yet profound, core concepts that I try to keep in mind every day.

Funny thing, though, is that the vast majority of what Cayce reported pertaining to spiritual matters were NOT his views. This caused him no small measure of distress when he first began awakened reading of the material that was transcribed from his trance readings.
The language can get cumbersome and some of the concepts are pretty arcane, if not downright freaky, but quite a lot of the philosohpy he put out strikes a resonant chord in me and makes a lot of sense to me.

the secret has a movie out now too. Its pretty good. The thing is that people become consumed by these thoughts.

Wayne Dyer is amazing. I have his whole 'en chilada'... his dvd's, his cd's, his little book 'getting in the gap'. I truely love that man.
