So I bought a pump from dr kaplan, but im not sure if i made a good choice. After doing more research it seems there are better cylinders out there with a soft bottom silcone ring. This one I have has a hard ring, the thing won't stay put, it keeps leaking, someone said to get a good seal with these pumps you have to shave with a razor i hate this cause in 3 days when it grows in im scratchign my balls everywhere not too attractive. Anyhelp?

Also my pump when i pump it to say 3-5 it goes there but it quickly returns to zero however i still feel suction. is this what is supposed to happen i thought since its constant pressure it would register the meter at the proper pressure. maybe not.

anyhelp would be helpful. thanks

Find some foam rubber-like material around 1/4" thick. Closed cell, not open cell. Cut a hole in the middle just big enough for your penis to go through. Make the outside 3/4 to 1" bigger all around than the outside dimension of the cylinder. This will make the Kaplan cylinder work well. Perhaps a bit of lotion or gel will make the final seal even over hair. This is what I have used happily for a year on and off.

ive been a devoted pumper for years now,and ive NEVER SHAVED!trim the pubes with a beard trimmer or scissors and use petroleum for sealing.
