View Full Version : Question about soreness...

Ever since starting Phase II of DLD's program, I've been getting sore after almost every workout. I used to never really get sore all that often. Hopefully, this is a good sign.

Anyway, my question is this: every time I get that 'sore' feeling, and I mean everytime, my balls really hurt. Is this normal?? It feels like I got kicked in the nuts about a dozen times, and I can hardly move. As of this writing, I'm still recovering from my last session which concluded almost 4 hours ago. I just wanted to hear some opinions. The soreness always goes away at some point and then I'm fine. So I don't think anything bad is going on, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

Hope to hear some feedback.

Cheers!

This sounds about right. You are doing a very intense program and it will take some time to adjust but the benefits are worth it. I used to do a lot of penile massage and use heat to help aid in soreness. Eventually I became used to it and now I rarely feel sore. I actually get jealous when I hear people that have this feeling. I have always looked at good healthy soreness as growth.

It just hit me but I think that some of the soreness is probably due to blue balls. Jelqing to nearly 100% erect and holding back any release for thirty minutes certainly puts a lot of stress on those boys down there. Not a good feeling. Can this be damaging in any way?

You constrict your penis at 100% erection for 30 minutes?
and your balls go blue?

HELL this is bad.
Stop doing that for 30 mins and do it for 15 instead.

Thanks for the link, DLD. Interesting stuff. I've never been too sure about holding back at the end of a session or not. Of course, I haven't been able to resist every single time and truth be told, I never noticed any deflating effects from doing so.
