I just got my power assist and was wondering if it was normal for it to be white and kinda rough on the inside of the ring. I was hoping for a smooth surface on the inside since it looked pretty smooth in the pictures and makes doing the stretches a little uncomfortable. It still gets the job done and the exercises are awesome, I was just wondering if other people's power assists were similar.

It seems like the newer pvc models are a bit rougher on the inside than the old models, but it still works great and the exercises are killer.

The Power Assist White was made to match the new imacs:) Just jokes. The new design was made to have more friction in the ring to help with a better grip. We chose this flexible PVC over wood due to the flexibility it gives during stretching. The color could be anything we like and we are considering switching back to a maroon of maybe a black version. Most guys love the grip this version gives but some have wanted a smoother surface. There is a very simple solution, get a fine grit sand paper and sand it to your liking.

The Power Assist White was made to match the new iMac :) -- Michael I have one of those iPowerAssist which I plug in my iPowerBook G4 via USB connector. It helps monitor the amount of torque I'm using with it.

Personally with my original Power-Assist I had to use some soft cloth in the O-ring because I didn't care for the grip effect and pulling of the skin. Later on I starting using a little Olive Oil instead of the cloth and it made using it more pleasurable.

I wrapped mine with gauze and then covered that with athletic tape. No more pain.

A black PA would be pretty sweet. Especially if it doubled as an mp3 player. It could even be programmed with Mental PE subliminal affirmations.:)

Just curious, DLD, what would be more beneficial...

DLD Blasters or DLD Blaster w/ the PowerAssist?

Reminds me of HalfBaked, ever seen Star Wars? Ever seen Star Wars on Weed?

Both are excellent exercises. Using the PA will make the Blasters much more intense.

On the subject of weed. I have never seen anything without being on weed:) What is life like?:)
