Well if you buy bottled water they add chlorine in it , and that is not good for your health ...... and tap water has piss and drugs in it

Would boiling water kill all the junk and make it safe?

Only bacteria and viruses...boiling will actually concentrate heavy metals and long-chain molecules. A good reverse osmosis filter takes damn near 99.999% of just about everything out of the water. Take a look online for pricing and variety.

remiii--What prompted you with the sudden concern?
Pure water relatively has no taste until they add all the extras (minerals)

I use a distiller. It boils away the water and makes it condense and drip into a 1 gallon bottle. You would be surprised how much shit is left over after the pure H2O is distilled out.

Advantages of the distiller is that you get 100% pure H2O but it takes like 4 hours for my 120$ unit to produce a gallon.

it will be the 120$ white one. There is also a black one that is slightly more expensive.

Y'know, I've seen those guys advertisements for years. Did you get one of his machines? I just never bothered to go get any detailed info myself, but if it does half of what's claimed it seems like a damn good investment.

Got any info? Recommendation?

I read a news article just recently on how there are traces of all sorts of foul chit in our tap water.

Man...I need to get a filter. I'll have to man up and drink from bottles and the tap untill then. I hope that chit doesn't kill me or mutate me.rofl

Distilled water is good for cleansing but it can wear you down if that's all you drink. It strips your body of minerals. It's good to drink distilled and mineral water. Or at least take a mineral supplement if all you're drinking is distilled.

If you live in Arizona you can get O Premium Water. http://www.owaters.com/ This is what I drink. (Yes Reber I know this is SPAM.)rofl

This is what I drink. It's the best water I've ever had.

O Purified
Super Purified Water
Our patented 10-step double purification process removes even the tiniest amounts of trace particles. The more we take out, the sweeter O Purified tastes, just like nature intended. In fact, it's so pure, it meets the highest standard of purification as designated by the Federal Food and Drug Administration. For clean, uncompromised refreshment, treat yourself to a cool bottle of O Purified water, quickly becoming the standard of excellence and purity by which all bottled waters are measured.

O Premium Waters - OElectro-liteOElectro-Lite
Sports Drink +

OElectro-Lite is a sports drink water that is good for every body. We start with O Purified Water and then enhance it with 120mg of calcium, 60mg of magnesium, 120mg of potassium. It's clear and has no sugar, no fat, no sodium, no preservatives, no carbonation and the best of all, no calories. Just electrolytes, that's what you want. You don't have to be an athlete to get the best hydration.

Gross.

Distilled really will cause a bowel movement though. It absorbs everything and carries it out...

Distilled water is good for cleansing but it can wear you down if that's all you drink. It strips your body of minerals.

The mineral content of water is marginal at best. We get most of our vitamins and minerals from the food we eat. Even if we loose that insignificant bit of benefitial minerals by water distillation, the amount of contaminants removed more than justifies this (I dont even want to call it) sacrifice.

As far as stripping your body of minerals, this is simply untrue. Check out this site. I know it may not be a science journal, but it has some good references.

What are you blabbering on about? Perhaps some fiber in your diet will solve your bowel problems. :s

Blabbering, pssh.

I go once a day. Distilled just makes you go early if you drink it when you wake up.
