zip ties for clamping

Hey guys Ive been using zip ties to clamp for about a week now, wat i do rap a napkin around the base of my junk and than clamp around a zip tie. leave it for a good session and at the end of the session take of the napkin which gives me enough room to cut off the zip tie. any thoughts?

You're going to hurt yourself sooner or later using a zip tie. not worth hurting yourself to save a few bucks.

Zip ties?... Really? Get a cable clamp. You can release it quickly if needed. Zip ties have to be cut to release- not a good idea if you have unexpected problems. Think about it, do you really want to be fumbling around with a scissors or knife around your junk in an emergency? Besides in the long run a reusable cable clamp is more economical than single-use disposable zip ties.

There may be some benefit from the ties versus the clamps but I don't think they outweigh the potential danger. Sometimes injuries can go from mild to horrible very fast: like blisters. Getting the clamp off is easy and even if you can't get it off in a hurry you can at least get a couple clicks off in a hurry so that the pressure is reduced. Also, your ties are either "all or nothing" and you can't back them off (without putting on a new one).

Ties are also expensive when you're destroying three or more of them daily. A bag of 100 at ACE is about $8 USD. Cable clamps are about $1 USD each and last for years.

I have been usinf zip ties for "extreme" clamping for years. Be careful, but I have had no problems. I first put on a thick rubber tube about an inch wide cut from an old masturbation device. I can then cut it off quickly with cuticle scissors. i like tight clamping and nothing beats a zip tie. Of course, I have a fetish for penis torture and push it to the edge, so again - be careful.
