I'm sure some of you are Mike Tyson fans, but even if you're not, there's a really moving documentary out by James Toback called Tyson. It really makes you think about the man, rather than the image. It's him retelling his life and being as honest as he can be. Highly recommended.

Here's the IMDB link to it.

Here's a great interview (audio) with James Toback about the movie on NPR's Fresh Air with Terri Gross.

i use to love watching Mike fight..still watch on the classic espn channel...i definitely think he was an misunderstood individual...i don't judge no man if i never lived in his shoes...yeah blew a lot of money, made many mistakes with his life but we all do be it on a smaller scale...after his trainer Cus died he went down hill...people look at Mike and try to sum him up by all the soundbites they seen on t.v. but for some reason i think he is a real sensitive man that is trying to live his life through the mistakes he made...i will definitely check out this movie.

I like the man and he is misunderstood indeed. He's a genuine guy and is probably better to trust than most of these people who think they are angels. He had a crap childhood and bad experiences in his life which made him what he is, but deep down he's a sensitive kind individual.
