ive been havin problems loadin webpages for over a month now. when i click on a link once, i hear it click up to 2 or 3 times and then i get one of the two messages below each time:

message 1

"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

What you can try:

message 2

"Send Us Feedback

i have to click back and click on the link again untill im able to get the link to work. when pages do load on my computer, i have to right click "show picture" because all the imagies are "X" and are not showin. sometimes im not able to connect to AIM and i have to click it a few times until it finally connects. now what i would like to please know is, is it my computer that has the problem or my cable modem?

could someone please help me?

thanks for the reply Red. i tried that already and it still keeps happenin. i dont know what to do anymore...its really annoyin that i have to keep clickin a link various times just to get a page to show. and then when the page shows, most of the pictures on that page dont work. when i post sometimes i have to make sure i dont double post because of this problem. is there a way that i could know if its my computer or if its my cable modem thats causin these problems?

Have you a proxy running or installed anything around that time which could have started this. I'm not familier with AOL but hard heard they are a PITA.

Given that you admit to not knowing much about PCs, I would guess you have multiple viruses on your computer. I would suggest getting an anti-virus program - Norton or McAfee are ok to start and also try downloading and running ccleaner a free utility to remove old junk from your PC http://www.ccleaner.com/
