Hiya

i live in the uk and am finding it very very hard to source a place to buy these. diy.com have them listed on their site (out of stock). when you go into the stores no one has a clue what they are.

i am really wanting to start some light clamping, so if anyone can help, i would really appreciate it

i had that same problem....you go in a store and ask about clamps, and they look at you as if you asked them if they sell cocaine. if you cant find a clamp, for now just use an old shoe lace instead.

Clamping is for people who have been doing manual PE for at least 3-4 months and more.
I saw this thread was in the newbie section so I just thought I should mention that. =)

good luck tho!

You can always printout a picture of them to give the sales-person a visual-aide

Also lots of alternatives such as Hose clamps, turn key clamps etc and you can read the thread with links on that here (http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?t=32902).
