View Full Version : How intense are YOUR hanging sets??

I want to see a comparison with how intensely people on here hang. Myself, I usually make sure the weight is heavy enough so that my ligs/base starts to ache after 10 minutes, and the last 5 or so minutes is pretty intense, usually im grimacing and counting the seconds until the end of the set.
I like to push myself hard LOL.
Maybe Im pushing too much or too little, let's hear from you guys..

Well I dont hang at the moment, but when I did, the weight used was 10lbs and sometimes 15lbs, this is a nice heavy weight to hang with, well the vets wont agree LOL but they been at it longer than me.
The key is, hang with a weight that will cause a GREAT stretch, but not a bad painful one.
Take the weightlifting approach, use a weight thats a challenge ..... but not dead heavy like 20lb's unless ya old timer at this.
I would use the 10lbs/15 lbs and hang for 20 minutes non-stop at the most extreme angle I could in order to make the stretch really powerful .... either BTC or Fulcrum, I made sure the angle was good and kept at that without much movement.
I fealt the soreness right of the bat, so I knew it was the right weight.
As the time went by i.e. 10 minutes the feeling wasnt as bad.
I also Reverse Kegel when I hang, and I ALWAYS make sure when I do this that I can feel it BIG TIME when a RK is done ...... if so than the angle was good enough .... if no feeling, or the tug back was shit than the angle for me was crap.
I kept doing RK over and over, these REALLY help in hanging ... they did with me.
After 20 minutes my cock was fucked, it was sore as hell and I couldnt hang anything on it after this.
Guess I could of done X3 / X4 20 min' session like most do, but I made sure my 1st and only session was VERY hardcore , so 3/4 sessons of 20 mins - the intensity - was all in the one session, saveing me time and also I belive working better with me as of my strong ligs'.
I say keep pushing ya self hard ..... do reverse kegels and FEEL that stretch, man o man ya'll feel it, and ya will know a workout after that.

I agree with Red on this one. The amount of weight you are using is really not important . What does matter is the effect it is giving you. I try to keep it simple, all a weight is a substitute for my arm, It frees up my hand to smoke, and it is steady and consistent. I personally wish I was able to hang 10 lbs.,I would be proud of that. It is the shits hauling 30 lbs. around to work,etc.
I do all kinds of shit with the Bib. I do cranks,just as you would manually,I let the weight swing,etc. Before I go up any in weight,which is a slower process for me than most, I do 3 sets in a TRUE Btc position. This dramatically increases intensity.

I also agree with what's been said so far. The important thing...the KEY with hanging is to use a level of resistance that gives YOU a good stretch and leaves your penis feeling fatigued. Kegels/reverse kegels while hanging is also a great way to add to the intensity of the stretch!

I've been using 25lbs for one set a day and it's been doing pretty good. Feeling a nice fatigue in the ligs and sometimes I have to drop it down to 20lbs. :)
