I have only been PEing for 3 months but its been 3 months of welcomed new size (gained 1/2 EL & FL and 1/4 EG )........until ...I'm still depressed about this..........Ive got SCLEROSING LYMPHANGITIS.
Everthing was going along just nicely and my wife told me she could definately notice the difference in size. I was over the moon....my prayers answered........then
I had increased my intensity but not to what I considered over the top....but I was obviously wrong. I felt as if I had a great work out and didnt have any abnormal pain ,just my usual red blood spots. About 24 hrs later a cord grew just under the head of my unit. .It is about 1 1/2 inches long and 1/8 of an inch in circumference and looks and feels like a cord is inserted under the skin.
At first I thought I had thrombosed a vein in which is actually part of the ailment but definately not the only part.....It looks really FUCKED sort of like a deformity.
I searched like a maniac for answers as now I'm totally depressed as I haven't PE ed for about 9 days only very light hanging. I PM ed a few of the PE guru's for answers and receieved none (that was unsual as I have had more help than I can believe)> I found the answer..SCLEROSING LYMPHANGITIS. A rare condition due to trauma and remember I felt nothing out of the ordinary and the condition is not painful just ugly.
Heres an excert from a medical facility about this condition :
[B]Sclerosing lymphangitis is a translucent cordlike lesion that occurs on the shaft of glans of the penis. It is usually flesh-colored but may appear slightly red. It is most commonly associated with vigorous sexual activity . When biopsy specimens are looked at under the microscope, thrombosed lymphatic vessels are seen. The thrombosis of these vessels is theorized to be secondary to the local trauma. This disorder is usually self-limited (lasting 4-6 weeks), but in a few rare cases in which there are persistent symptomatic lesions surgery is indicated.
I dont know if anyone can help me with advice but I would try anything. I have been using IBUPROFEN for the last 7 days (4 a day.)There has been no change at all in 9 days. Be careful as it is possible that I may have this for good. I now have a deformed unit and I cannot PE at all and if Im lucky it MIGHT disappear in 4-6 weeks......for me this cant get any worse..........

Sizequest -- I PM'd you days ago, shortly after you PM'd me. I forgot to mention that you should take anti-inflammatories. You are doing that so that is good. I would take megadoses for several days (800-1600 mg a day). Be careful though, everyone's tolerance for that amount is different. I was lucky because I had a prescription for bextra which is a fantastic anti-inflammatory. I would stop all hanging NOW for the foreseeable future. At most you should do LIGHT stretching. The condition you describe in this thread is something like an advanced form of thrombosis. I think the prescription for getting better is still the same. I suggest that you set up your control to get an e-mail when someone responds to your posts.
Take good care of yourself! Feel free to contact me at any time. I overcame two of them and now I have no problems at all.

WTF? Why are you asking people here? The first time you have ANYTHING wrong with your penis beyond a mild thrombosis...you should go to your darn doctor.

I did some searching around google and found some medical sites. They all said just to avoid rigorous sexual activty for a few weeks. Itw ould probably be best to avoid girth work or hanging for a while but like Tennisnut said light stretching shouldn't be bad but you should see a urologist if it doesn't go away.

FIRSTLY...get of the Iburofen, they are SHIT, all they do is increase ya blood pressure.
Take summut like Co-Codomol or aspirin.
Dont worry man, ya be fine ... nerve damage is worse than this and I have over come that.
Simple clear ya mind of the shit and worry [deep breaths] than get into the shower or just go to the loo.
Get HOT water on that cock....hot wraps if ya will.
Do this for 15 minutes than apply cold wraps for 30 seconds and than hot for 30 seconds, keep alternating over and over for the next 30 minutes.
Now whenever ya goto the toilet, KEEP applying a 30 second hot wrap than a 30 second cold wrap, do this for say 5/10 mins each loo visit.
Over the weeks it should go away, as the warm and cold water will heal and take down any swelling in their...makeing sure it doesnt come back.
Give this a shot, and take Co-Codomol or Aspirin, NOT Iburofen ... that stuff is BAD,
Post back with how it goes.
Also welcome to MOS
goodluck,

Ibuprofen can also be hard on the stomach I believe.

Of course Still has given you good advice. Especially if you are that concerned and think your injury may ultimately need medical attention, go see a doctor. That goes for any injury -- dick-related or not! Just know that my injury also made me look deformed in the flaccid state. I, too was very concerned/upstet. If you feel comfortable seeing a doctor now that is what you should do. Otherwise, follow the tips you are getting for another couple of weeks to see if there is any improvement. As philadelph said, ibu... can be tough on the stomach so make sure you can tolerate it and by all means don't take it on an empty stomach. I have taken megadoses for other inflammatory problems and it has worked nicely. Don't do it for more than 3-4 days, though. Let me know if you got my PM from the other day.

Thanks to all responses, I am overwhelmed with the feedback. I am starting to feel better about this and see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Thanks Tennisnut and DLD for the PM's they have helped alot.
As for going to the doctor I think this would be a waste of time and he would say just to rest....I know for sure. Also because when I did a web search for my condition all medical texts stated this was a very rare condition and most doctors even uroligists would not have seen it.......
This injury is more than a thrombosed vein........Its a deformity......and I'm trying to hide it from the wife....she wouldnt care just that it looks bad and I dont want her to see it.
And REDZULU just knowing you have come back from worse trouble has mentally picked me up...thanks. What really put me off was the fact that this injury may not heel.........shit. But Im positive the help I have gotten from this thread and PM's will see me through.
Thanks again, like I have said before...This place feels like home.
Is this similar to the 'doughnut effect' or something enterely different?

Dario this is nothing like the doughnut effect. This is a injury or trauma causing a "cord Like" swelling just under the head. Apparently as far as I can tell through my search is that the swelling also consists of thrombosed veins but that is only part of the issue.
I justed wanted to tell PE ers to be careful as this "injury" came without any pain or warning signs approxiamately 24 hrs after my workout. Up until this happened I was injury free but this has made up for it..........as you realize you can only gain without injury so, Be Careful.

Any updates on your condition?
Hi DLD, Hey I must tell you this place never ceases to amaze me , I mean that you take time out to ask me how Im doing....thanks alot
Ok good news , I ve been doing the program you PMed me ,which was the warm moist wraps ,light massaging and asprin as well as rest......shit I hate that (rest) and its working .From a very severe thrombosis/injury that looked bad and was quite large (1 1/4 inch long and 2/8 inch circumfrence) thick cord, it is probably only 3/8 of inch long and and only slighty raised above skin.
The only down fall has been that so far this has taken about 8 weeks to get to this stage and probably 2-4 more to complete recovery. But at least its getting better. At one stage after searching for my problem I found out that some cases dont fully heal and that depressed me. But the help from this forum /post had me thinking that it would heal....thanks to everyone that PMed and posted help......it got me through.
I have been stretching moderately for about a week and a half and no problems.(no jelqing at all)
Looking back now I know how I received this injury. I was so rapped about the extra 1/2 inch in length and 1/4 inch girth I attained in 3 months that I remember that during the end of that workout I was jelqing almost erect (95%) and although I had no pain or any extra red spots or even soreness this was the only thing that I had changed from the previous workout. This injury took about 24 hrs to come up. I should have been more patient, so if your a newbie dont get carried away ....take your time.
One more thing I think helped was HIRUDOID cream. It for the treatment of thrombosed veins and flamatory conditions of the veins.
Cant wait to get back into full swing again.....but this time I will take it alot slower as this injury has cost me gains that if I had gone slower I would have made by now.
Thanks DLD.

Glad to hear you're almost back to normal, Sizequest. You've handled your injury very smartly. Remember I had 2 of these (the second was not bad at all). I think I am finally fully used to the intensity and really do not expect any more thrombosed veins. I've been PEing for almost 6 months now.

Good to hear Size! I feel you on the comment you made about the injury taking a day to create and now over 2 months to heal. You learned a lesson about your body and when you return to 100% you will be more careful. I was going to mention that some stretching would help you through the whole "NO REST" thing so I am glad you are doing that. We will be here when your ready so don't rush.

Hi DLD, Ive learnt a hell of alot in my time off. I have been reading up alot on the posts to make sure that I dont do this again and just to stay in touch with MOS.
The best thing Ive learnt above everything is the fact you and alot of others have taken time out to PM me and answer my questions and give advice to get me back on the road again. For that Im very thankful, for what may have seemed a trivial problem to some people (after all it wasnt life threatening) was a major issue to me.
I am very thankful to everyone on this forum and DLD as you PM ed me a couple of times , so thanks again.
One more thing I forgot to mention as a part of the recovery was that in the 8-9 weeks so far I have only had sex with the wife twice and spanked the monkey twice. This is because my searches lead me to believe that sex and cranking would hinder recovery. Let me assure you that has been very hard.
My wife understood as I showed her my self inflicted damage and I told her It needed time to heal.
Thanks to everyone, we are dam lucky to have this place (MOS)

Hey size, if you wouldn't mind can you tell us how long you've been PEing and what your routine looked like? I've been PEing for 3 weeks now and I jelq erect only becasue it feels good and I hate wasting time having to wait for my penis to go down again. Guess I'll have to do some more research on that. Anyways, I'm glad to see you are getting better sizequest. Keep the faith brother, you'll be back as good as new in no time.

Hi Bryson, More than happy to let you know my routine, In fact I used DLD basic routine that is posted in the newbies section. I followed that routine exactly for 8 weeks then changed the basic stretch to the DLD blasters.
I also increased my jelq (wet) from 20 to 30minutes at that stage.
I used a rice sock to warm up with and also used it during my stretches to keep the ligament area warm. For myself I was training 3 days on then one rest day. I dont know what the optimal frequency would be as I have only PE ed for 3 months and I was going to play around with that up until my injury.
What I mean by that if I wasnt gaining I wouldnt change my program I would have slotted in more rest days for full recovery. Up intil my injury my gains were coming along well.
As for jelqing I would not do it as a Newbie if I were you. That has cost me 2 months so far and at least 2-4 more weeks til full recovery. The injury I sustained came without warning or pain 24 hours after I finished. Jelqing erect may have benefits but not for a beginner ,dont make my mistake.
Be rest assured Bryson all the information, guidance and support you will ever need is here at MOS.
Glad to help.

Glad to hear things are improving for you SizeQuest. In terms of dealing with the impatience of waiting to heal to get back PE'ing I would suggest reframing your thinking. Instead of negative thoughts like;
I've lost so much time
Its so long until i can restart
Realise this whole experience has been a great learning curve and think thoughts like
Six months from now this will all be a distant memory
Six months from now i will be healthy and made new gains
This has made me appreciate my body more and made the fire for growth grow brighter.
Negative downer thoughts can add nothing, but supporting yourself mentally will mean your mind heals stronger, just as your injured unit does.

Hi Levista, Your thoughts are so true and thanks for your input. I have come to terms with my injury. I have been as positive as I can be and slowly but surely Im on my way back. (no jelqing still)
The closer I get back to pre-injury the more positive I become. The only reason it got me so depressed (other than the fact I couldnt PE) is that through my searches I found out that my injury had the possibility of being permanent. But luckly mine started to heal after about 4 weeks.
Thanks again for taking time out to offer advice.

Hi to all at MOS, I was just posting this thread to finally state that Im fully healed. I m raring to get back into it as this injury has taken about 11 weeks to heal.......shit 11 weeks.
Anyway thanks for all the feed back I received it was very helpful and kept me positive. Thanks especially DLD not only for your injury advice but for the follow up on my condition.
I am giving it 3 more days that will take me to the weekend. I am allowing the extra days as a precaution, as I dont want a relapse. I must say although I will be easing into it I am a little scared. this is because my injury made my unit looked deformed.
I have been doing some light stretching nothing to hard but this too will now be increased S L O W L Y.
One final thing to NEWBIE'S ,that is not to rush to quickly into advanced movements as you will get injury eventually and lost time will not bring about gains. I only wish I had a digital camera so I could have posted a photo ,you would then definately not rush.

Just a quick update to what had been a serious situation. Ive been back at it for about 8 or so months since the injury gained back the 1/2 inch I lost and now another 1/4 inch on top of that.
No problems and Im going hard at it as hard as pre injury ,the only thing is I jelq about 70 % erect, never ever fully erect.

Glad to hear you are doing better. It seems as though I might have the same thing. Do you have any pics or know a website that does? The only sites Im finding dont seem to have any good pics.
Mine only happens when I hang then pump, the pumping I think was the major culprit. If I leave the pumping out of the equation, it doesnt seem to pop up.

Hey jakb, dont have any picks as I didnt have a digital camera at the time and it s a vision I dont really wish to see again.
I found a web site at the time but now cannot remember what site it was. All I can suggest which you have probably already done is a google search of
"Sclerosing Lymphangitis' and go through all the web sites till you get pictures.
Also mine was there all the time until it slowly healed and it was a little tender to touch, it didnt come or go like yours seems too.
Hope this helps.
Thanks fo the feedback. It seems to be under control. I just eliminated pumping all together and now it doesnt pop up anymore.
