Hello all. I'm new around here and have been reading everything in site (pun intended). Very informative. This PE stuff may actually work! I guess I am about average or so at 7" BPEL (a tad bit under 6.5" NBPEL) and 5" EG. I'm shooting for an inch or so both ways. My newbie routine is posted at the bottom.
I am about two weeks into PE and had my first negative event yesterday. After my PE session I noticed a swelled puffy area just under my glans (FYI, I am circumcised). So after I stopped crying over my ruined D, I searched the website and found it to be the more or less harmless donut effect. My D returned to normal after 5 hours or so. One piece of advice I read about was a guy that lightly massaged the area while erect, so I thought I would give that a go. Once I had an erection, I noticed a small hard bump on the right side just under the head. Crap! Thrombosed vein! So, I read some more threads about that and ended up applying moist heat for about 25 minutes and more light massage. Towards the end of the evening I had some difficulty locating the bump while flaccid, though I was sure it was there. This morning, I checked the early wood to see how bad it was and it was gone! I do not have any experience to explain it, but needless to say I am pleased. My jelqing session was pretty intense yesterday (not really intentionally) and now the skin over my D is a little tender. I feel just a little discomfort in the location of the bump, but no real pain. Noting that I have lucked out with a quick recovery thus far, I will take off at least through the weekend and longer if necessary. I would like to hear some comments on what you think about my situation. Particularly from the master, DLD, if he is available. Additionally, take your shots at my routine as well.
Routine every other day:
5 minute warm up with rice sock
60 second stretching X 2 sets each direction (up, down, sides, down to the side)
25-25 dry jelqs (base-mid shaft)
5-7 20 sec holds
150 wet jelqs
couple more stretches
warm down in shower
