I just got my bathmate and I have to say, so far, not impressed. I am not getting a seal. I keep trying, but something is breaking the seal and I just don't get a good vacuum going. I have shaved, so I'm not sure what the deal is. I have the label facing up, etc. There has to be some kind of trick I'm missing.

No trick. Fill up with water (helps to have your crotch wet as well to get a better seal), put your penis inside and push against your pubic bone.

I am a little worried my fat pad is hosing me. I am at around 10% bodyfat, but all of the fat I have in the universe is located between my belly button and my upper thigh. It's maddening.

Be sure to trim any excess hair from your pubic area and be sure there is a wet seal, as stated above.
