I'm not to much of a bath guy. Did you fill the chamber with water before entering? I figured if I fill the chamber with a cup or two of water before entering I should get a good suction. I'm also interested in using this as a dry pump when I'm not in the showr.

No need for lube really. If you enter erect like you're supposed to. Entering flaccid can cause the glans to ''hang up'' on the wall of the BathMate which is uncomfortable for sure. Entering erect solves that issue. ALSO, make sure your body and BathMate (at the base at least) are both wet.
