View Full Version : How many hours before changing springs?
For how many hours can you use the original springs before changing them.
Theoreticly they will be weaker and weaker when they have been forced together for many hours...
I feel that my gains with mine is slowing down and wondered if there is a recommended max time before changeing them.

Spring steel doesn't give out like that it just breaks.

yeah i don't think you have to worry about changing the springs so much as adding additional rods..

You guys are aware that tension can also be added through the screw set at the base of the extender?

yeah by screwing them counter clockwise...i think aclaim was asking about the inner springs needing to be replaced...which i haven't felt the need to do.
Yes that's right.... I was thinking of the inner springs. The problem has crossed my mind a few times, that everything that gives tension will slowly get weaker and weaker.
I have trying to figure out the best way to see the max tension on my devise ( a JES) and the best way I have found is to just push it town to max tension on the springs on a sqale.
I have about 1200g of max tension on my devise but it doesn't feel like that much doe. But it feel nice to know that no one have replaced them yet.

You might try wearing the extender in the "lock in" middleposition. This always gives max felt tension to me.
Also you might take a look at if some of the tension goes into the skin instead of the inner part of the penis. Tweaking your strapping in technique will help you with that.
If that ain't enough there are some companies who sell you tougher screws which fit, tushyextender.com for example.

Never needed to change the springs but Ii think you can get them from the Spare Parts section of their site.

Is there anyone that have experience from ordering from tushyextender.com? Have tried to mail them with some questions but I haven't gotten any answer from them.

I find that screw part at the bottom to be a bit of a flaw. Every time i try it, one side just unscrews at the base, and the other does what it's meant to and adds tension, so then i end up with one side longer than the other, which is pointless.
I just add bars, i don't mess with the screws.
Springs should be fine mate, cross that bridge when it comes to it. But if they do break, they don't sell them on SizeGen. You'll most likely have to buy another or see if SizeGen will replace it.
