You can use Firefox to do this. Grab the add-on to download video, there are a few and they all work about the same.
You can go to tools-ass ons and find download youtube videos! Mozilla of course....

Wwwell, I got my computer and I don't know how to back the videos up, the page is a little confusing. I also have not been able to understand how to convert videos. I downloaded a Sony Video Converter; didn't work, I tried the 7 zip converter. I haven't had success with either. I made a 1 minute video for my Youtube channel and it says is it 1.06GB and it will take 3 or 4 hours to upload on Youtube and will not even upload on Facebook. So what do I do? Can I record the videos in a different format or are there instructions on how to convert the videos?
I had videos before that I could not figure out how to upload because every time someone explains it to me they say it like this, "oh yeah it's easy to convert videos. You just take the file and send it to a convertor and click the button that fits the selected format preferred, then right click and scroll down until you see Windows media desk log, and open that, then close that, and rearrange the size of the converted new video message output. Then you have your conversion." Um, what?
