anyone know how to beat snoring. it's odd for me when i was younger I had awesome sleep quality, and for the most part slept like a rock. now I sleep harder, wakeup not feeling rested, and snore like you wouldn't believe...to the point my wife can't sleep and she can go across the house and a different room and still hear me loud and clear. and it even wakes my child up on occassion.
I went to a ear, nose, and throat doctor and he did tests, and I had to do a study as well. long story short I ended up with a c-pap machine. it helps a little by forcing constant low pressure of air up my nose and down my throat to control snoring. But the problem still exists on quality of sleep with or without machine. and with machine you still have the constant machine sound of it running and pumpming air. Which happens to be ok for the baby but not so much for my wife. I tried some of the breathe right strips and even the breathe right spray but it helps minimal.
Doc said I have a loosing of the soft skin on the back part of the top pallet. which could be from almost anything: weight gain, etc...
if anyone has any suggestions...well outside of surgery because the insurance company says it's not a medical condition it's a cosmetic one, I'm open. I'd love to invite the CEO to my place for a few nights and let them see if it's a medical condition or cosmetic. thanks guys
