''I'm sorry;
Please forgive me;
Thank You;
I love you''

I'd like to start this thread in order to help make a commitment in keeping up with the 10-20mins a day practicing this Mantra by RedZulu. The link to the thread is here (http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?62594-I-m-sorry-Please-Forgive-me-I-love-you-Thank-You&p=439654#post439654)
I'd like to use this thread for us to post in everyday we remember to take out 10-20 minutes for this exercise. I know it helps me stay committed, remember, and motivated when I daily record my goals. Anyone is allowed to post in it and if you would like to join in the ritual please don't hesitate to join.

Just post that you have completed it for the day and any notes you would like to say about it. Keep it going for as long as you would like to- stop at any time it feels right.

Good idea. I will perform it again shortly and find that afterwards I have a nice sensation come over me. It does work, for me I do have a sense of peace and ease when doing it. Being alone and quiet is good for me as-well, like a mediation if you like and just let go and chant it to yourself either out loud or in your mind ... having rosary beads or similar prayer beads would be good for those who like to count repetitions.

Make sure you concentrate on it and you don't need to rush the words. Have a nice pace and forget EVERYTHING ELSE ... just concentrate on the manta, take in the moment and if anything in particular is bothering you in life or you would like sorted then allow that to enter the mind as you recite the mantra.

I use the edited version

''Dear God/Father;
I'm sorry;
Please forgive me;
I love you;
Thank You;''

Not to sound morbid here but this mantra is a lovely thought to have when on ones death bed.

Makes sense. There are quite a few documentaries on the natural fear of death. I could understand how this is comforting. It works even when you are healthy on a quiet evening.

15 minutes last night.

I thought this thread was good to use during the ritual. Relaxation Thread (http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?59609-Relaxation-and-calming-videos&highlight=relaxation+relax). I used the "Zen" video

If you want to do this I found it of importance to have the mantra written somewhere around you(I used my Word Pad). It isn't hard to remember, but just at the moments you start thinking of something else you can stay on track.

Comes a time soon when you know it off by heart and its that you want to aim for. Now my latest experiences are last night I did it before bed as I usually do for 20-30 minutes. I had a photo of the Black Madonna in front of me and a candle lit in white, room in darkness while I concentrated on the flame and photo as I repeated the mantra in my mind.

I used the photo because for me it just gave me a nicer connection with the divine in that moment. It helped me for what I wanted because I was stressed. This helped out allot for me.

I again recited it today before a very important meeting and it went perfectly well for me as if everything had fallen into place so I could deal with it much easier.

I did this over and over yesterday while painting the wall for 2 hours. Times like that are good for doing this mantra.
