Yep, it might have been. It was kinda grainy and black n' white. One of the soldiers pressed the victim's head down with his boot, while the other slashed the poor man's throat. Watching it made me sick, shocked and furious all at the same time. Seeing shit like that just takes away your faith in the inner virtue of man... I believe we could all be reduced to such barbaric, animalistic acts of sadism under the right circumstances.

I am going to skip on the decapitating footage. I think I had enough of reality gore for the rest of my life with the throat cutting thing. Never again.

I agree levista, nothing here at MOS has every offended me, but this is pretty offensive, an innocent American is slained for no reason but deception and malice, and now his death is being shown on a proud American Forum, yet we bitch and complain about those "poor" humilated Iraqi Prisoners of War.

I will not be watching this, what is the surprise of it all? I can see how it would be interesting to some that side of human nature, but he was killed wrongly simple as that, it was probably a disgusting and ruthless death as I have heard, I don't need nightmares. That must be revolting to watch even for the most die-hard gorehounds.
Personally I've never liked to watch reality gore... it's just not healthy to saturate your psyche with such graphic images. It takes a really sick person to be able to enjoy, or even be fascinated watching someone else getting killed in a horrible way.

10 years ago civilian getting footage like that would have been almost impossible, now the Internet has made it as convenient as picking up a remote and changing a channel. I can only imagine his fear and pain at the moment. Shit is crazy. My prays goes out to the family and his love ones. Rest In Peace.

This is why I decided to watch the clip, I had thoughts too in respect for him and respect for his family, I did not watch this footage for entertainment purposes. I don't agree with people who have the mentality "out sight, out of mind" I'm not saying anyone here is like that, I'm sure every decent person on this board feels for Nick Berg and his grieving family.

I had tears in my eyes when I saw this footage.... for him, his family and the absolute disregard for an innocent human being.
