I'm looking at using this for chest hair removal, nothing else. Actually, the entire torso. Has anyone out there used this before? If so, could you guys give some feedback?

Thanks.

I have tried it, its ok. Not great but it works ok. There is stuff much cheaper in the beauty supply stores. And works just as good if not better.

ctmwm,

What kind of stuff in the beauty supply stores would you be referring to? Gotta name brand?

Thanks.

Ah there is a ton of them, any home wax kit will work. Heck you might even grab one at Wal-Mart.

Acer,

Check out this do it yourself hair removal from Cairo. All you need is sugar, lemon juice and water.

Acer -- I've used it for some straggly hairs on my back (not very many of them but they grew kind of long). It works fine. But I caution you about 2 things: (1) if you have a lot of chest hair it will hurt, for sure; (2) it is very sticky -- kind of like using honey so it could make a mess. I also have heard that it can leave a rash. It didn't leave a rash with me but just wanted to warn you.

Anth0079,

I read link. Sounds very interesting! At what point do you add the lemon juice? They said mix the sugar and water, let cool, then apply. They mentioned the lemon juice as part of the ingredients, but they said nothing about actually applying that. Just wanted to see if you picked up on anything.

Thanks, dude.

Acer,

in the paragraph with the ingredients,

To make the halawa:use equal parts of sugar and water, and the juice of about 1 small lemon or 1/2 a large one for each cup of sugar used. You want to use a minimum of one cup of sugar and one cup of water for a small batch. All I did was go buy some lemon juice in a bottle and it works just the same.

p.s.
add the lemon juice in the beginning.

Cool. Thanks. But one more thing? How have the results been from this?

Thanks again, Anth!

Acer,

Considering that the combined price of sugar and lemon juice was only like $4.50 and the fact that it does not take that long to make, plus you can store the left overs in your fridge then reheat it when you want to use it again; I would say that the performance of this stuff is amazing! Basically it feels exactly like what the site says: like ripping a band aid off, but it is more like a fresh band aid (it stings a bit). Just try not to go over the same area more than a couple of times otherwise you will be red and sore for a week.

I'd rather shave my balls I cant imagine using it there. The fat pad would be the spot for it though.

Normally I shave but I've been getting curious about home electrolysis. Anyone have any experience with that?

it looks harmless, but once you start ripping the hair off your back... OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHH!!!!! ! :O that shit is painful. trust me, i had my girl use that stuff on my back and it felt like i had just gotten flogged!!! i don't know how the hell people can tolerate those bikini or ass-area waxes.
