    The squat rack is my best friend .

    Im 152.6lbs , Im going to shoot for 500 X 6 today at 4 P.M. I got 495 X 6 Tuesday. I will post later on what I get at the gym in my progress thread.

    Squat rack is awesome piece of equipment. Mine is crucial for squats, hise shrugs and standing calve raises. Safety is PARAMOUNT at all times I think and in a squat rack with safety pins set you can slam it down if you in trouble.

    Useta use a machine a lot like the squat station on a Smith machine, but the one I'm thinkin' about had some kinda flywheel setup where; the faster you stood up the more resistance you encountered, and if you did, say, a 10 rep set you could see the "poundage" grow with each rep. Anybody else ever use one of these? And if so, what the hell was it called? I used it so damn long ago it's just a dim memory by now...(like most of my other memories nowadays....sad face), but I remember it gave ya one hell of a pump in yer quads.

    One technique that works for me for stretching is start as close to the base as possible and perform one set of stretches there, then move towards the head about an inch or so-one finger width for me- and then continue on until I've reached the head.

    To maintain a good grip I'll kegel blood into my penis until the volume from my grip point to the head is almost at a full erection level, gripping tightly to prevent outflow, this "bulbous end" acts as a damn good anchor. It also isolates the vast majority of the stretch into the tunica & septum- away from the skin.

    Like I always tell new guys:
    1. Absorb as much information as you can, there's no substitute for honest-to-God knowledge.
    2. Find out what works for YOU, experiment, try new routines, expand your personal envelope in a rational, intelligent fashion.
    3. Go S-L-O-W...you can't train a broke dick.

    I am going to share with you tryed,tested and scientifically proven best exercises there is.(few of them)

    Best conditioning exercise ever invented is : Burpee >> Try to do 100 Burpee Challenge

    Best pure strenght exercise is : Deadlift (works every muscle from your toes to your chin).

    Best exercise to build explosive power and the one that includes the biggest amount of motorical unit is : Olympic Style Weightlifting Snatch and Clean & Jerk.Weightlifters have the highest vertical jumps on the planet and beat 100 m sprinters on 20-30 m distance.

    I'm getting a lat pull down machine with rowing attachment. Will use it for various lat work, as well as doing triceps, rows and weighted sit ups via the rowing handle. Its the only-way you can situp against a resistance of 100's of lbs and builds the abs faster than conventional ways. 2011 is the year I get my abs sorted.

    A great piece of kit to have is the JC Santana Predator which is a Resistance band

    Red, if you wanna get a good ab workout while building endurance find yourself some ankle weights that let you build weight progressively. Combine them with dumbells and a good gymnastic or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ab routine and pretty soon you'll be tireless and bulletproof.

    Bought two new handle attachments for the pulley machine. One is a triceps rope handle, ideal for some old school pulley work while the second is a dual handle really and allows deep seated rows and curls to be done.

    The best equipment gym tool is squat rack and i lie it and its my favorite one and moreover i like weight lifting machine specially for arms but squat rack is the best among all.

    I rigged a power cage for bench inside, safety bars just right to insure safety. Outside, 24" arms to catch failed squat. Deadlift somewhere else.

    Grip work is great for pe. Not sure if it works the other way around.

    I like the two 'rays. Not much will wrap and stay on a bar but clothesline wrapped around might help for squat.

    Atlas stones, why don't they just call them cement balls? Shoulder little ones in the weight range of sandbags.

    KettleBells. They are the best.

    They'll work your whole body and it takes a lot less time than exercising each muscle individually. Fantastic for core strength too.

    My favorite is resistance band, fast way to build muscles. I also like dumbbell. Its really great fun when using them.

    I love crossfit, I found pushing weights at the gym to be very boring and these short and intense workout sessions fit my lower amount of attention span a little better.

    i have my own little gym setup. its basic, but it does the job. it consists of a heavy duty rack, olympic bar, iron plates, some rubber bumpers, a flat bench and a platform. ive made pretty good progress with this, its all thats necessary. on my wishlist is a few dumbbells and a GHR
