PE Diet - Food to supplement your exercises and improve your overall health

Rating: 6 votes, 5.00 average.
Hey everyone, I've decided to write a couple of blog entries. With PE, of course performing the exercises is the most important part. To maximize your work, there are foods that can help you grow and contribute to your overall health. All of the foods I list are rumored to help PE practitioners, and most would be recommended by a nutritionist anyway.

PE Grocery List:
Green tea (try to get real stuff like Oi Ocha instead of the kind that's sweetened with chemicals)
Chicken or other poultry
Oysters
Beans (eat with rice like is common in Mexican food for all the essential amino acids your body cannot produce)
Eggs (the cholesterol they contain is the good kind, and they're one of the most nutritionally complete foods... avoid the bacon if possible )
Bananas (http://bananasweb.com/bananas/Health...its+of+Bananas)
Oatmeal
Yogurt (with live and active cultures)
Nuts (peanuts, almonds, pistachios, etc.) / pumpkin seeds
Goji berries
Celery
Avocado
Basil ("increases circulation, stimulates the sex drive and boosts fertility")
Garlic ("contains high levels of allicin, which can improve blood flow to the sexual organs", just don't eat too much or your stanky ass won't get anyone to come close)

I took the descriptions in quotes from http://www.naturalnews.com/022992.html. I have been a nutrition freak for a while, and have taken a few courses about nutrition in college, so I thought I'd try to help out my buds at MoS with the limited knowledge I have.

Hey, thanks. I think people tend to think last of all about what they eat which is funny really as you literally are what you eat, ask any doctor. I don't really care for avocados but is it true that that they contain almost every vitamin required for a healthy diet?

Interesting about the onions (although I have the same thought as with the garlic)! I have heard that bananas contain many vitamins, I'd believe it about avocados too. Ultimately though, one food isn't enough...you need a well-balanced diet low in processed foods.
