I've fooled around with several lubes from shaving cream (gel type) which I used for pumping/manual routine, found that this had a very short life as it foams up with agitation, mineral oil- didn't like this at all too runny, real messy to apply, lube factor is too low, olive oil- same as mineral oil, very messy, all over the place during application, lube factor is a bit higher though. Vitamine E lotion- this stuff is usually pretty good, easy to apply, not too messy, if you use this look at the listing of ingredients on the product, if water is the first ingredient listed then it is probably more water than actual vitamine E with lubricants and I was having to reapply about every 50 jelqs or so, look for something that has a high aloe content. Vaseline- seems to be the best all around lube, easy too apply easy to clean up ; I just wipe myself and whatever I touch down with a towel, doesn't drip all over the place like oils and some lotions, as you jelq it works into the skin creating a nice slippery barrier between the skin and your jelq hand, you can easily adjust the amount of drag during a jelq session by adding more or wiping it off your hands. I think vaseline is probaly cheaper than other lubes too. This is what I have found out about the different lubes I've used, "so go ahead, make your decision, punk."
