Okay cool I guess the youtube links are harmless. What are the links everyone was talking about that harm the site when the site was attacked a week or so ago.

This was not the issue, we finally found it. It was a stray line of code embedded into our footer. How it got there is beyond me or my partner. It is now gone and we should be smooth sailing from this point forward.

Does anyone watch Game of Thrones? I heard this from the ending of the last episode "A man without Honor". Any discussion of the show would be gladly welcomed on the thread. The character who I'm most interested in is John Snow and his adventures North of the wall as well as Tyrion Lannister off course. I also started to read the books, only read the prologue so far and it's amazing. :)

Pretty hard to get a virus on a Mac. I have never had one and clinking a link will not cause this. On a PC, without protection they are the most at risk. EVery issue that we have ever had with the forums was due to the vulnerability of the PC architecture. Our plans to move to a solid state drive using Apple Servers. This will make us pretty much bulletproof.

I just notice that my Mac seems to load up pages a lot slower than it used to. Anyway, thanks for putting my mind at ease.:)

How much ram do you have in her?

Yeah, I have no idea what you're talking about.?:( Me and computers, or should I say computers and I, don't mix very well.:O I know how to use the internet, send e-mails, use iTunes, and...well that's pretty much it. I'm out of the loop and that's the way I like it.:s:) At least most of the time.

Go to APPLE menu>About this Mac> You will see all the info there. Let me know what the numbers are and I will let you know what you can do.

My system I am on now is:

Version: 10.7.4
Processor: 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory: 8 GB

That is plenty fast! Try running Disc Utility:

Hardrive> Applications> Utilities> Disc Utility> Select Drive on left> Repair Disk Permission. Run this twice and it will repair your permissions and any other issues that may be causing a slow down.

Thanks a lot DLD! I'll give it a go today.:)

Cool. Also update to OS 10.7.5 right now you are behind in system software.

Apple Menu> Software Update> it will find the latest version, now just install and things should be pretty speedy for you.

I've been adding songs to my playlist and here's a classical rock driving mix I have so far.

billy idol - white wedding
layla - derek and the dominos
golden earring - radar love
take it easy - eagles
scarface soundtrack - push it to the limit
acdc - back in black
juke box hero
tom petty - running down a dream
up around the bend - creedence clearwater revival

Any suggestions feel free to add.

AC/DC - Big Gun

That is all.

AC/DC is always a good choice, specially with the rock solid beats! I will go with "She's Got the Jack":)

Thanks for adding :) I'll check it out... another classic I found...

rolling stones-its just a shot away

Kinda reminds me of the mafia movies lol

OMG! We used to do a cover of that:) Look up the Sister's of Mercy version,,,,pretty gothed out:)

Yeah "gimme shelter" I found myself listening to most. Sounds solid straight through with the guitar solo in the middle and Mick Jagger kills it in his solo. I'm not from that generation so it's all new to me so who knows what I will find next. DLD you were mentioning you were in a band you must no some good classical rock songs to drive to that I can add to the mix. And the cover was awesome thanks for showing me and it was very gothic lol :).

I personally watch day9 on youtube when I do my sessions ... He does a Starcraft 2 commentary... I don't know much about SC 2, but he's funny and he keeps me limp :D :D

lol obsidian eyes I have the older starcraft but I played warcraft frozen throne more. You must be doing length sessions to keep you limp lol. But I'll check it out thanks.

DLD, Feel free to unstick and move this thread elsewhere lol.

Maybe in entertainment or something it doesn't have to be restuck. Just don't want to clutter things up lol. I still like my other sticky though in the newbie section so I can write all my thoughts. :)
