I can attest to that, its basically impossible to do without injuring yourself. The longest ive heard someone go is 3-4 hours and even that is a very long time for a vet. Back when I did lower tension switching between upwards and downwards. I wore it for some 2-3 hours at most in each session...

Right now im struggling keeping the SG on for long because the base of the SG is irritating my scrotum. It happens whenever I develop a good tension with SG. The head and everything else is just fine though.
