which is more benefitial, pointing the extender upwards, downwards or straight out?

Downward. There’s not enough intensity to do upward stretches using an extender. Upward stretches should be done either with your hands or with a Lengthmaster.

I thought that pointing upwards targets tunica and downwards targets ligs? I've mostly wore it pointing upwards at medium to max tension, was that just time wasted or what?

It does target the Tunica but it simply does not have enough intensity or strength to affect the Tunica in any real way. Upward stretching requires a lot of power. You can do it manually or you can do it using a Lengthmaster. If either of these options do not work for you remember that bundled stretching affects the tunica big time. The LM is super intense and it makes upward stretching a breeze!

Reminds me of the expressive stretching when done with the length master in an upward angle.
