Sealing tips. breaking the plateau. increased suction.

I'm not an average poster, but after some experimentation and trial after trail I believe i have some great tips on better and increased suction with the Bathmate.

When I first started I experienced what most people did; great expansion with little effort. Every day i was making great progress, and I was getting better at it each day. But after time these immediate effects wore off, and I felt like I was stuck in limbo going no where fast.

I figured I need to find a way to keep a better seal, stretch my penis and not my scrotum, and if possible find a way to increase the pressure. I can gladly say I was able to accomplish all these things with a little bit of effort.

Like me I'm sure most guys using the X-40 (this should work with X-40 as well) have had trouble getting a good suction. I found out the problem was that a small air bubble would form at the top, and the one way valve does not function at 100% because of this.

getting a good seal

1. position the Bathmate as high up on the base of your penis.

2. when you pump, cup the bottom of the gator with one of your hands as if you where holding it, and press the side of your hand against your scrotum. this should prevent it from being sucked into the Bathmate.

3. press the Bathmate down as you normally would to create suction, but this time, at the full compression of the gator, tap the black nib at the top of the reseal valve to reseal it.
ILL SAY THAT AGAIN. THE BLACK NIB HELPS CLOSE OFF THE RELSEASE VALVE KEEPING A TIGHTER SEAL. the really helps when you are pumping out air. i didn't know this, so I'm sure someone else is wondering what that nib is for too.

increasing suction

first off i should warn that this is a very strong technique. if you feel pain, stop. if you feel uncomfortable, stop. use this technique for 5 - 10min tops. start off slow at first.

1. pump to maximum pressure using the above technique or one that you prefer.

2. release the pressure and poor out some water, start off with a small amount.

3. then pump to maximum pressure once again, this time you should notice a small air pocket at the top of the Bathmate. using the above method will help you get to maximum pressure.

4. then you must suck the remaining air out of the tube. how you do this i will leave to your discretion. you can manually suck, stick a rubber hose on it, use anouther pump, modify it, get your girl friend to do it ect...

5. after about 5-10 min take the Bathmate off and do DLD's Bathmate expansion routine.

6. repeat.

using this method you should notice a significant increase in suction. this is because you are using water and not air. so keep in mind, all the air you suck out goes to your penis, this is why it is such a potent technique.

I WILL SAY AGAIN THIS IS A POWER FULL TECHNIQUE, TAKE IT SLOW AT FIRST.

using this method i was able to shatter my plateau, and make incredible gains. i recommend using dld's Bathmate expander method for this, to reduce fluid build up for maximum efficiency.

i hope this helps anyone with similar problems, or those that just want another edge.

Thanks noone this deserves a rep point. Especially the info about tapping the black nub I had no idea, I will try it next session. . This whole time I thought it was just for the release valve. So you don't actually press the black nub, you just tap it very lightly?

I tried it just now, I pressed down the black nib after each pump when the gator was compressed. It was interesting because sometimes it would let more water out then usual as well as some air. I noticed that there was less water in the Bathmate than usual. I'm guessing the nib lets out excess air which lets you pump a few more times. This is a great tip thank you, the Bathmate seems like it gets better and better.

Hey, I actually had a second session the same night using this method. It seems this really works because I just had the best session I ever had. I wanted to do a little Bathmate work because I had really good eq after the first session. I started out with some standing ssj while using 2 fingers instead of one to provide the upward pressure. Next I lubed up the Bathmate with vaseline (minus the comfort ring) and pumped while taping the black nib on every pump. I ended up doing the Bathmate/ssj super sets for the first time seriously and it worked wonders. The Bathmate pressure was the strongest I've ever felt and I almost touched the top of the tube in the herc, that combined with the ssj with 2 fingers always giving upward pressure was beastly. Thanks so much noone for the tip this has made a big difference in my sessions.

to answer any, and hopefully all questions about the black nib is simply this. it is the manual method to close the 1 way valve. you can press the nib all the way down, this works fine, I've just seen best results if you tap it down a few times to ensure that it closes properly.

its good to see its helping others and not just me. has anyone else had luck with the increased pressure technique; that was the real magic i discovered, because it allows you to beyond the maximum pressure of the gator. for the longest time i was stuck at the 200 mark in the X-40. but i have been able to reach the 220 mark at the end of my sessions lately.

oh and thanks DLD, because of your ssj method with the Bathmate I've been able to eliminate almost all signs of water build up.

Have tried tapping the black nib while pumping and nothing different from my experience so I don t get it .
Am I supposed to have someone suck out the air at the top of the Bathmate cause my neighbors don t want to do it.

yes you are supposed to suck the air out, how you do it is up to you. i personally do it my self, but you may find it difficult the first time; especially if you have the X-40.

the fact about the Bathmate is that it is designed to be used in the water not air; the one way valve is just not made for the faster movement of air. to be honest, i don't even know how DLD use it outside of the shower, maybe he's a magic man (I'm sure most will agree).

if tapping the nib is not helping, try it holding down for a few seconds. that may solve you're problem.

Also, truth be told; not every technique, tip, or trick works for everyone (why there are so many miracle ab machines. if this works for you, Great I'm glad i could help, and if not, sorry.

No magic involved, it works for me every time with maximum suction. I know many guys are using it this way. The Bathmate is filled with water prior to putting on, you realize this?

well it may not be the most appealing way but, suck it out with your mouth. if this is not for you for what ever reason, then there are other ways. you could get a thick surgical tub and stretch it over the end and pump it out, or you could take the Bathmate apart and figure out a way to attach another penis pump to it, which i highly don't recommend unless you are very savvy. I'm sorry i don't have a better answer than this.

i try to follow Occam's Razor, simplest plan is the correct one.

DLD every time i try outside the shower even with water i can never get a good seal, so it's like magic to me.

Cant reach down enough to suck out the extra air so I will look for a rubber tube and suck it out that way.

Dickleaker, I've put some real thought into your problem, and I think I have come up with a solution.

If you just to stretch a tube around the top ( which would be hard to begin with ), and then begin to manually suck you would run into a physics problem. energy and pressure always flows the least resistant path, and you would probably end up sucking the air out of the surgical tube rather than the Bathmate. other pumps don't run into this problem because they have hard hoses, but to do this trick we need something stretchy. so why not use both.

this requires a thick surgical tube, 3/4 inch diameter should work, and yes they do exist, just not easy to come by. (these make for a great slingshot as a matter of fact) The other item you will need will be a short length of pvc pipe (1 inch diameter should do).

you will need to attach one end of the surgical tube to the pvc pipe, and the other end to the Bathmate; once again this is easier said than done. good tools to use for this are needle nose pliers with duct tape wrapped on the business end ( this should prevent it from tearing the tube) and some Vaseline to reduce the friction.. so this is how it should look. Bathmate, then the surgical tube, then the pvc pipe. so essentially the surgical tube is just there as a elbow joint, and a way to make a tight seal. If you want you could glue the surgical tube to the pvc pipe for a permanent seal, but I don't recommend gluing it to the Bathmate.

It may not look pretty, or be the most elegant solution, but this is probably your best shot. good luck.

no, you can find surgical tubing at your local hardware store. I think Home Depot only has half inch tubing, but you can find more sizes if you go to some of the smaller home owned plumbing or hardware stores. plus I'm sure you could find a tomahawk missile online if you really searched, so...

you don't have to bend that far with the X-40.
