It seems like the Static Stretcher is the rave lately. I have owned it for one month now. Let me give you guys the lo down.

I want to make clear that like all things in life, the Static Stretcher is not *the ideal stretcher* and I doubt there ever will be one. The ideal stretcher would be undetectable, comfortable to wear indefinitely without removing, safe to wear indefinitely, durable, provide strong and constant tension, and the list goes on....If you can't except the fact that a stretcher will in some way inconvenience you, do not buy this stretcher, or any other stretcher. I think the Static Stretcher has inconvenienced me significantly less than the other devices I've tried.

I have worn the noose-strap stretchers, the AutoADS and the noose-strap stretcher modified with the AutoEXT head. The Static Stretcher is more stealthy than any of the others, and the most comfortable (I have worn it eight hours straight without removing it in my second week). I have logged 14 hours in a day several times recently.

My only gripes so far are that the base of the penis gets some irritation from the velcro strap, which I have lessened by putting a soft piece of cloth between the strap and my skin. The second gripe is that the tension is not quite as high as the noose-strap stretchers, mostly because of the way tension is created between the abutments. In the noose-strap stretchers, the rods are pushing on a solid base ring anchored to the penis, whereas the Static Stretcher's "base ring" apparatus has give to it, taking away from some of the tension. That isn't to say that the tension is low, because it isn't, just not as high as it could potentially be.

How do I know the tension is enough? Well, I don't. Only time will tell. But I can say a few times I have removed it at the end of the day and when I got an erection, there was soreness along the shaft. It is internal soreness, not caused by skin stretching--it's deeper than that. I think of that as a positive sign.

I have logged 200 hours with the stretcher and 120 hours with the Static Wrap (included). This is a result of a very conservative first two weeks, wearing it only 60 hours. I have been able to get a few hours some nights during the weeks with the stretcher, but eventually my erections push the device to where it must be removed. 72 hours straight like Gerry mentioned (I think) certainly seems possible once you get the hang of proper wrapping and little nuances of the device that affect comfort. I have worn it 8 hours straight with no problems. Unlike the noose stretchers, you need no break when you remove it; simply unwrap, rewrap, and you're good for another several hours. I have mastered urination with the device on, but it took a while. It is only possible if you apply the device (and wear it) in the down position. If you apply it in the up position, you cannot bend your penis down without causing the wrap to slide up over your glans.

At high tension, you will get discomfort after one or two hours. You must wear the device at a tension that can be tolerated for long periods, usually your erection length. It seems that I need to re-wrap every hour (sometimes a bit longer) to prevent an intense burning feeling, almost like an indian-burn if I wear it at too high of tension.

When I reduce the tension to my erection length, this problem goes away. Also, I recommend wearing the device one hour at about one inch below your erection length, then stretch it further. This will prevent the wrap from sliding up your shaft, causing a burning sensation.

My flaccid has responded very nicely the past month. It seems I have gained at least 1/8" in flaccid measurement.

So I have posted a pic with it being worn in the down position under loose-fitting jeans, with my cell phone in my front pocket. I kinda like the down position better than the up position now that I have worked it out....

There are other pictures posted here. I wear the Static Wrap at the gym only.

I recommend loose-fitting jeans/shorts/kahkis and boxer briefs with the down position and Static Wrap; The stretcher worn in the up position is best concealed by wearing a hoodie or bulky sweatshirt.

Any questions, just ask.

What are your thoughts on the statement that's on the site saying that in their testing the flaccid penis stopped going back to the original size and staying in the stretched state usually at 350 hours or so?

Maybe I misinterpreted.

Good review. I'm getting one soon. The noose extender I have from fastsize.com irritates me too much. I figure I'd give a similar review to you for this product so go to see from you.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean about the anatomy of the stretcher and how it is effecting things, but I'll find out when I get it.

As far as the irritation goes, Dr Scholls Moleskin worked really well on my fastsize extender, but I'm not sure if that will get in the way of some velcro on this one.

I'm really curious about the "base ring give" so that'll be interesting to inspect. If it is annoying then maybe we should ask for a redesign. I might be able to use the biowrap and "head grip" and longer bolts/rods from the SS with the base from my fastsize for a more solid base ... but ... again ... I'm not exactly sure what you mean right now.

Lastly, I've always worn it in the down position and I seem to like it best. I've never tried the up position, but I can imagine that the strecth may feel good at the base on the underside but it may be really uncomfortable during normal movement. I suppose I'll give up a try though.

Thanks for your review. Hope you keep us updated. Good luck!

QK: Please quote the site on what you are referring to. I am not sure what you are asking. However, my penis is more elastic in the flaccid state since wearing the extender. Even several hours after it has been removed.

PP: I think you will appreciate the SS after owning a noose stretcher. It is difficult to explain things with text, but watch the DVD, put it together and take it slow. Try things out, don't be hasty or impatient. I think you will really like it.

"The nearly-immediate effect of the StaticStretcher System is a noticeably larger flaccid penis. As more hours are accumulated this larger flaccid size lasts longer. It will become more typical to have a larger flaccid. Eventually, your flaccid will never return to its original fully contracted size. Testing revealed this time to begin at about 350 hours. Do not be encouraged to increase tension due to a larger flaccid size."

I could be reading completely wrong.

I interpret that as meaning your flaccid will not retract nearly as much as it used to. In other words, your flaccid penis will be closer in size to your erect penis than it was before; closing the gap, if you will. Seems to be true so far for me.

Hey goldmember, thanks for the info on the static stretcher.

You mentioned that one of the weaknesses was that the base was not as stirdy as one of the noose stretchers and so the stretch was not was pronounced - do you think there would be any way of modifying it to rectity this?

The other question was about how long the parts of the static stretcher would last and if parts are available to buy as spares.

Thanks alot.

If you are good with fixing stuff, you could modify it easily with some type of rubber/silicone ring. No need to fix it in my opinion though. It seems to work just fine, especially in the down-position. I wore it 16 hours straight yesterday without rewrapping, and I have even learned to shit with it on. Sorry for being graphic.

So far, I still have all the original parts in mint condition.

I have owned one for a short while. I previosly logged about 400-500 hours on the fast size, and have the auto ads as well.

The static stretcher has no solid base ring at all and it definately seems harder to create tension due to that. The 2 rods fit into a piece of cloth with velcro that you wrap around your penis to form a ring at the base.

I agree it is much less conspicuous and definately more comfortable than the noose stretcher. The great thing about this stretcher is if the thing were to fall down your pants on the floor it would not look like any form of penis stretcher seen on the internet. It looks very inocuous when taken apart.

My only possible concern is will does it have enough tension to work over time. Hopefully being able to wear it for so much longer will counter the lower tension level compared to the noose stretcher. I definately have not mastered being able to go to the bathroom without taking it off. I guess that comes with time.

PS... when you first get the thing it seems really confusing as to how these parts form a penis stretcher. I was like WTF until I got more then halfway thru the video. It does come together in the end however.

All in all I'd recommend this device as well.

I agree with both your respective statements, I too have found the base ring to be an issue. It fine if you the penis is directly out at 9 o'clock, but once you adjust it up or down the rods in rear abutments not longer press directly on the pelvic bone and are only be held by the stretchy Velcro and fabric base ring. And by doing so it loose some tension.

Perhaps if the base ring we a were more like that of a traditional stretcher, where the rods pivot from the center point and can not slide along the pelvic bone when used pointing up or down it might not loose the tension.

I use my in the up 12 o'clock position, and find that the rods not really touching the pelvic bone any more and are only held only by the abutments attached to the flexible Velcro and the abutments seem to reposition in the fabric base ring.

Another thought is perhaps I can sew the rear abutments into the base ring so that pretty much stay in place at the sides of the penis.

If it were more like a "traditional" stretcher it would hurt the pubic bone and the testicle skin.
I used to wear mine with the two base abutments pressing into my fat pad. Except in the UP position.

How do you guys wear the device pointing down? I find the only way to do it is to turn the headstrap to the top of the penis instead of the adjusters being on the bottom. It's less secure. Is there another way.

Also, anyone have any other tips or tricks to maximizing this thing? It does take some playing around with.

The velcro straps should always be exposed on the dorsal side of the penis. I am not clear what you are describing.

I have some pretty good tips in the first post. Basically make sure you wrap correctly (include a bit of glans, wrap tight, pull back foreskin if necessary); wear boxer briefs if you wear it in the down position (much better than UP from my experience with both positions); wear reasonably loose shorts/slacks; start at least one inch below your BPenis EnlargementL for about one hour then increase tension once the penis relaxes; loosen the velcro straps when your penis relaxes (less pressure needed to keep it in place); tighten the straps when you have a sit-down on the potty; switch the leg you "secure" it to every day in order to even out the tension on both sides of the CC; in the beginning rewrap every couple hours to avoid skin irritation but after a couple weeks you can wear it longer and longer (eventually all day) without rewrapping; etc.

Now that the weather is getting warmer, my balls are sweating much more. This has made the comfort pad a bit smelly. I remedied this problem somewhat by folding up a fabric softener sheet and stuffing it inside the cavity of the comfort pad.

The device gets better and better overall with time as you fix tiny nuances. I've worn mine for 16 hours staight many times now. I have only been able to get 2-3 hours of nighttime wear when I decide to keep it on, but those extra couple hours add up in the long haul. Right now, I have logged about 500 hours of combined stretcher/wrap, with about 370 hours being stretcher. The first couple weeks were a real learning process for me, as with any device. Don't give up on it, because it is really very comfortable, convenient, and effective.

I have posted a couple of pics of me wearing the stretcher in the down position, one of the photos taken with an extreme UV camera so you can see through my pants, and the other with an ordinary camera so you can see that it is virtually undetectable.

GM, have you noticed your gains corresponding to the claims on the website (IE: 1/16th per week)?

If one wanted a more solid base they could modify one on from one of the many more typical stretcher suppliers.

Thanks goldmember. This is very helpful. Your getting a much better stretch than I do so I must need to modify something. When attached as you have it (bottom side of glans) my stretcher does not want to turn down so I've been reversing the way I attach it and put it on the top side of glans with the rods pushing against the pubic bone. I dont know why my SS resists pointing down and your SS seems to have no problem with that. I also have black rods that appear thinner. I wonder if that could have any effect?

The rods are the same, just the color is different.

The base abutments can press into your fat pad in every position except up.

But perhaps what's happening to some guys is they are simply using too much tension.

Possibly. I would lean more towards 1/16" every two weeks, but the ruler will be the judge in a couple weeks.

RE: rods. The rods I have shown are not anodized (which allows them to be painted black) because I was one of the orders that shipped when a storm ravaged the factory. I have since then received a pair of anodized black rods but I am saving them until I grow out of the rods I have already snipped.

Sterling: All I can say is keep fiddling with it, but be patient. Watch the video two, three, four, five times if need be. Get it to work, because it is awesome.
