I had to mention this here because it had such an impact on me when it was aired on Friday night July 24th just gone.

The Jonathan Ross show here in the UK each Friday when he interviews famous people and on that show Denzil was on and I was amazed and taken back how genuine, down to earth, humble and respectful that man is :)

Mr Washington has to be one of the best down to earth famous people EVER ... he doesnt think he is anyone and if you watch the interview ... DO IT ... you will hear some fine words said.

At one point he makes one of the best speeches I've heard in my life to sum up what we should all do and that we all have something to give in this life, be it money, love, strength, ideas etc etc we all have SOMETHING to give and thats what its about and that is what took me :) it almost brought tears to my eyes! that someone like Denzil who is so famous can actually be so down to earth and careing, seeing through the thickness of the worlds outer shell and really getting it down to basics.

I've always been a fan of his but now I'm even BIGGER.

PART ONE of the interview
PART TWO of the interview

Denzel Washington is definitely seems like a genuine down to earth dude..especially when it comes to hollywood standards..he grew up about in a town about an half hour away from me..he gives to all kinds of charities...use his own money to build hospitals...help out the men and women in the armed forces and just seem like a decent person..

I agree with both of you.

But I think that the main question is, is he doing Penis Enlargement, and what is his size LMAO
(ok...sorry about that...I just had to).

But seriously...many of actors and rock stars could have a huge effect for many unfairness in this world, not to even mention our presidents and leaders. However, there are just so few of them, who actually bother to try. World could be such a great place.

I have lots of time for the guy, he's someone we can all aspire to be.

I saw that episode Denzel is the man. Quentin Tarantino was also in that. In the ending they did a scene where Tarantino came out of the green room and shot the guys that were standing next to the piano with a machine gun. That was pretty funny.

Denzel Washington is pretty awesome. He's a topnotch actor and he has brought some class back into Hollywood. I saw those videos a couple weeks ago and was amazed.

Training Day was a great movie, but I'd say Man On Fire is my favorite Denzel Washington movie.

is he just an actor or does he influece direction, storyline and production too?

I'd imagine all actors (or at least experienced ones) can/do change parts in the script and play a role in the direction of the movie too. You got people who have been acting for decades and can bring the experience from dozens of movies to help with their current project.

well, denzel always seems to be the perfect good guy in his movies. that is kinda fucked up. actors need to be shown differently too like in insomnia.

thats the first time if not the only time ive ever seen Robin Williams as a bad guy in a movie....in One Hour Photo he wasnt really a badguy, but a victim of a lonley life. i prefer actors that are chameleons in thier actin roles like Samuel L. Jackson or Forest Whitaker.

just saw street kings last night...i liked Forrest in that and also in The Last King Of Scotland..very good actor

His lazy eye annoys me :( He's a good actor, don't get me wrong, it's just that eye!

Christian Bale is another one of those fantastic actors. He actually lost about 70 pounds for his role in The Machinist.

yea Bale is another one whos on my chameleon list. i saw the Machinist (known as El Maquinista, in Spain where it was filmed) years ago and loved it....also the unique and classic American Psycho. ive always prefered real "actors" over movie stars.....Edward Norton is another one.
