Intermittent fasting is great and allows one to eat more carbs than usual. Personally I’m a carb monster, as in I eat all the carbs I want and only count my protein intake to make sure I get at least 200 grams of protein a day, I usually end up around 240 grams a day.Thanks for all your diet advice guys..I've been "bodybuilding" for nearly 20 years now..last 10 years have been on and off since getting married and having children..plus I'm getting older so it gets harder.. right now I'm carb cycling. High carbs on 2 leg days, medium carbs on 2 upper body days and low carbs on rest days..I'm doing standard intermittent fasting only eating between 12pm-8pm..so if I stick to it I will achieve lower body fat %.
Anyway I just want my dick bigger regardless of body fat LOL..
Hopefully I will start 5x5x3 again..loved the effect that was having..
And I get what you are saying regarding age as I’m 40 myself and struggle with back problems, inflamed triceps and quad pain, just gotta figure out better ways to work out so the working out doesn’t come to a halt.
And you will definitely get a MUCH lower body fat % from IF, IF is the reason I finally got visible abs.

I understand, despite not having kids myself, that it takes some extra commitment when one does as you do.
Btw have you ever considered TRT? I’m on a every 9’th week injection of a very long acting testosterone called Nebido(undeaconate ester)due to having had testicular cancer. My point is that a lil dose of TRT really helps as one ages.
Gonna take a blood sample next week to see how low I go, hoping to be in the 6-700 range at the lowest. Which would be pretty good for an injection taken every 9’th week. Also TRT really helps with your wellbeing as a man togheter with building muscle mass a little easier.
