The neck press would be best done on smith machine, and of course it's lighter weight compared to conventional bench press.

You press it down to the neck itself on a flat bench, best search Vince gironda neck press, it helps develop the width in the pec attaching the armpit, I noticed that.

Arnie, well, Arnie had it all, but he had that development due to using this exercise when he visited Vince's gym in the early years.

It's bad ass, rather than the typical disgusting bloated breast men develop in gyms nowadays, this exercise carefully enables a man to work the chest in ways often neglected in favour of more weight, and the monkey says monkey does mentality.

Seems like an interesting exercise to build upper chest and also the width as you mentioned. Never really heard about chest width.

I know you can focus on upper chest by doing inclines and inner chest by going wide grip. Interesting to hear about width though. Let me know if you have more to share about the subject.

If you want to get the craziest pump in your life, superset freeweight guillotine press with JM presses. 3-4 sets of that and you're cooked!
