i'm a eagles fan too..and was excited to hear vick went to philly...Vick is a weapon...if he can still do some of the things that he use to be able to do he will be a good edition...and it's not like McNabb is the most injury free qb...picking up Vick give the offense more options...but i hope they don't try the wildcat bullshit...leave that for college.

The Falcons GM was suspending him for the first four or five games of the season. That might of been a factor in the trade.

To be honest McNabb is fallin off n I think Andy Reid did that to put pressure on him. Besides your gonna need alll the big names after losing half your defense to trades and free agency.

i know the dog lover's is probably gonna have a problem with this ..it kills me how people get all emotional and up in arms over murdered dogs..but where is the public out cry when kids and people are getting murdered everyday...is that just a part of life? i like dogs(not love) and i thought what Vick did was inhumane and disgusting but i don't think he should have to pay for it for the rest of his life..there are people in the league that is doing way far worse shit than what he did..but just haven't gotten caught...

From what I understand Vick was the 'GM' of a dog fighting ring, not the people tossing the dogs into the ring and watching them fight. I have two dogs and myself do love dogs like crazy, but damn some people go too far with all this, 'I love dogs, so Vick should die.' type attitude.

You make a such a valid point about humans killing humans and yet they get out and it's not a big deal. If a person was in the media's spotlight for brutally murdering five people it would be another person killing people. When Vick was in the spotlight for running a ring that 'murdered' dogs all the sudden it's "OMG HE IS KILLING DOGS!". This pretty much seems a perfect example of the pot calling the kettle black.

Also, if you purchase a dog, cat, snake, hamster or your animal of choice. Doesn't this legally make it your personal property? So, aren't you allowed to do whatever you please with your personal property? You'd think this would be true, but big brother steps in and tells you what you can and can't do with YOUR OWN property.

Vicks actions and subsequent charges over the dog fighting ring will undoubetbly attract neophytes to the breed that have zero understanding of the current global situation with BSL and societies sterotype of the breed.

I definitely agree with you...the American Pitbull already get stereotyped as a "bad" dog...and Vick did not help the situation by operating a dog fighting ring that pretty much showcased pitbulls...one of my best friends has a pit..and she is the most gentle playful dog you want to ever meet...i don't mind her being around my young child...it is the people like Vick and others that breed these dogs to be vicious and mean...without that extra push..pitbulls can be nice family dogs.

I like Arlovski as a fighter (the old Arlovski)...but he seemed to have peaked about 4 or 5 years ago. I'm more surprised now when he wins a fight.

Anyone who sucks up what the media has to say or assumes an image based on other people's judgements or actions for a specific breed or ANYTHING (in this case pits) is a ignorant fucking piece of shit.

IMO Vick did not ruin any type of imagine a dog should have, Penis EnlargementOPLE did. I've never seen an aggressive pit unless the owner has 'trained' him/her that way. I'd say 97% of the Pits that I have can in contact with are nothing but extremely loving animals. I've never seen an aggressive type of animal unless it's trained or 'programmed' that way. Hell, I've seen Yorkies that are mean as fuck. Should I alert the media and put a stigma on Yorkies? Better start protecting your ankles....

damn right, did you see the bullshit that went down in Jersey a few weeks ago.....about 3 fuckin corrupt mayors, and i think 40 somethin Rabbis were arrested on some bribery shit. alot of these motherfuckers get to high positions, and then they believe they are above the law....and they strut around as if they are gods. the same god-complex goes for alot of cops and judges.

Yeah brah me being a black man i have experienced the laws of nature at work. We get harassed and pulled over for no reason... well sometimes... and then get treated like second class citizens.
