I am absolutely beyond frustrated and confused with this thing. I really don't understand the tension and spring system as it seems it is not working for me at all based on what I've been reading. I would love some help here and would very much appreciate some guidance, let me first try and explain what my issues are.
Okay first off I can't understand what you guys mean by setting different tensions. I've tried countless times to try different combinations of rod lengths in order to get this right. First I thought that I had to use less rod length and then turn the main rods in order to see the spring compress to increase tension. That didn't work as all that happened was the rods extended further and not enough tension to cause the springs to compress. So I finally came across advice of first compressing into your pelvic bone before strapping in by having longer rods on. I figured this would work as it would clearly have more tension but the springs are still not compressing EDIT: Staying compressed, they're not staying compressed after strapping in I meant. I figured "okay, time to turn the rods." But when I do that the damned rods seem to be "stuck" inside the white holder and can't turn the rods at all when that much tension is applied. And I'm telling you I'm pretty stretched at this point. My question on this really comes down to what is my goal supposed to be with the setting here? Especially when it comes to the tension markers/lines? Am I not using enough rod length and am REALLY supposed to yank harder? Even so, it seems then I'll never be able to turn the rods and extend them anyways as they always get stuck as I said. Totally lost here... any help is much appreciated.
